  1. S! Also the red glare on the canopy that is BEHIND the actual warning sign(on the armored headrest). Kind of black magic there how the red label is glaring behind a solid structure
  2. S! A bit of a wish here too. Outer wing guns were removed by many pilots in a lot of squadrons. An exception would be JG300 for example that was tasked for bomber intercept. But JG11, 26, 54 etc. had planes with removed outer guns even in their earlier A models. Removing the guns and ammo would save about 178kg of weight, increase performance and make rolling snappier among other things. Even many 190A-9 had their outer guns removed by ground crew. I doubt it would take ED long to implenment this? Engine. At july 1944 FW190A-8 was to get the improved 801TU engine replacing the 801D2. New engine was fully compatible requiring just replacement. As an intermediate measure parts from the TU engine could be installed on the D2 engine upgrading it. At the same time came the clearance for higher boost levels. Add this to the above mentioned outer gun removal and the 190A-8 is all of the sudden a more capable plane. Not the slug every single game up to date models it. Priller flew 190 exclusively and got most of his kills in the 190A against Spitfires of various marks, never shot down by one Another neato feature for the 190A would be the bubble canopy, same that was used on the 190D-9. It is exactly the same canopy assembly. It came later in autumn of 1944, but was more or less standard after that in new planes. Saying it is not in the timeline of WW2 module. Well, we have planes and models that were not in use at time of Overlord, so kind of a moot excuse. And lacking even more of planes as well.
  3. S! Sorry for necroing, but also agree kneeboard could be more useful. Now it is useless or I just can not seem to be able to move the map area in the 2 closer in zooms. Does not help much if kneepad shows your base area near Paris and you are flying around Cherbourg.
  4. S! It feels in times the pilot has the qualities or Dr. Reed from Incredible Four, being able to turn and stretch neck like rubber. I understand the balance between realism vs playability though.
  5. S! It would be great if ED one day could add more "timeline specific" planes to WW2 module. At the moment some are from later period than D-Day/Normandy, like 109K-4 or 190D-9. Still glad we are seeing iconic planes like F4U or F6F. But again sometimes feels like tossing in a plane here and there without proper "beef on the bone". You could use F6F and F4U in some scenarios even in ETO, basically Norway area. Over mainland? No. WW2 needs love, not all want to play flying nintendos
  6. S! Especially noticeable when looking left and back. Your head goes well outside the cockpit.
  7. S! It will cause damage to certain items there. Sorry for not being able to go into specifics Trying to find public data/pics/videos of it. Sorry if posted in wrong section. I am glad the Hornet was done, having over 20 years of experience with it IRL
  8. S! When spreading wings on the F-18 you can push in the handle right away. This is not the case in the real bird. You have to wait until wings are fully spread before pushing the handle in or you would break the locking pins. Also when folding wings you have to wait a few seconds after pulling out the handle to verify ailerons are flsuh and FCS page shows correct indications. After that you turn the handle to Fold. After wings up you leave handle in Hold and do not push in the handle. Just a few items..
  9. S! Hopefully not reported yet, but noted that the main landing gear shock absorber is wrong. You see both pistons, low pressure(lower) and high pressure(upper) part when aircraft on the ground. The only visible should be high pressure part(upper part) or you would have wrong pressures and fluid in the shock absorber. You only see the lower piston when gear is down and weight off wheels. Image attached.
  10. S! Started the campaign and in the intro where you "drive the Jeep" to the airfield noted one issue. When at gate showing ID and supposedly the sergeant should hop in the jeep, he does not appear in the 2nd seat. They still talk though. He magically appears by your the plane when you arrive to it. Also noted that while observing surroundings some soldiers seemed to "glide" instead of walking at a higher speed across the area. Sorry if reported earlier. Really got immersed to the campaign with the briefings, music and all.
  11. S! This strange line has been there for ages. Very hard to get on screenshots and visible at low level.
  12. S! I bet the damage you see graphically might not be the actual damage received?
  13. S! The reflections are next to hideous offering nothing to alleged realism. A screen is not real life. Make them optional or remove them altogether. And on Anton the red warning placate is reflected BEHIND the headrest etc. Also about the smudgy glasses. Make them all clear and as of new. ED is not modelling worn out planes or bad production batches. And as a RL military aircraft mechanic I would not even let a plane leave the ground with such dirty cockpit and windshield glass. Pilot´s life depends on seeing out of the plane. Again, give clear glass to all. We stare at a screen, not thru a real cockpit.
  14. S! Finnish Air Force also uses BOL dispenser on their fleet of F/A-18C and D.
  15. S! I find Normandy being like drawn with a liner. All those sharp edges and unnatural shapes of beaches and forests. Not to mention elevation data making rivers go uphill etc. Marianas also suffers from these straight lined areas beneath tree areas etc. Does not look like a smooth transition. Updating the maps would be most welcome as those issues really stick in the eye when flying. With clouds covering terrain it is less pronounced ;)
