My Jetseat is no longer recognised; if I start the Jetseat Control Panel is states that it is disconnected. Green LED light on the control switch, and I have tried different usb ports and even another computer, but no go. Any good ideas?
The 55th FG was the first P-38 group operational with the 8th USAAF in October 1943. The 354th FG became operational with the 9th USAAF in December 1943; it was loaned to the 8th for escort duty, mission #196 on 5th December being the first.
Mission #247 on 4th March, 1944 was the first 8th USAAF bombing raid on Berlin. P-51's participated on that raid.
I think it's safe to say that P-38's didn't hurt the Luftwaffe seriously over it's own territory prior to the advent of the P-51.
Luthier was rather reluctant to give Alpha / Beta access, iirc. His promise to do so was for giving the KS momentum, not because he necessarily thought it was a good idea.
Yes, which in a way was my point. You can't simulate the BoB with just the E4 for the Axis side, with or without a Channel map.
VEAO have a Tobruk map in their roadmap, but again no Axis planes that match that period.
And maybe some 109E-1 and 3's, Ju 87 and 88's. Bf 110's, Do 17's and He 111's to go with it perhaps?
Otherwise it would be a lot like the Tobruk map, missing Axis opponents to fly against. :music_whistling:
