  1. Bump this, The INS clock will only start when the generator power is provided. It will also stop in the background if generator power is cutoff. I could not find a way to synchronize the INS-clock with the mission time. This is in particularly painful if flight of multiple elements try and plan for TimeOnTarget (TOT) missions, where all elements have different time based on when the engines were started up. All waypoint ETA calculations are based on the INS-time. streagle ins_illustration.trk
  2. Any keybinding mapped to "Pilot jettison Pylons Cover, UP/DOWN" will result in CTD when key binding pressed in-game.
  3. Good afternoon, Persian Gulf appears to be crashing randomly anywhere between 5-10 minutes into the game. I don't know even where to begin with the troubleshoot, attached the logs. Some potentially relevant background information: Game installation was recently moved from one computer to another (not a "clean" install). Caucasus is however working just fine. Any advice appreciated dcs.log-20181117-150624.zip
  4. Hey there, regognized a soul mate. I'll bump your unique situation as I work on a ship, and play DCS exlusively while onboard. Like you, I often need to resort to the satellite connection for weeks at a time. The ~1500ms latency allows me to even run updates, login to the DCS website, but it wont let me to login in the game. Propably due to a timeout. Primarily playing the multiplayer when within reach of mobile network. Sincerely hope there will be a feasible solution found for this. Best Regards zeus aka "thorax"

  6. Confirm this behaviour. Also I was just barely able to follow the taxiway to the runway. Neither did my buddy and I need to change over the controls to get random damage to occur in midflight without any apparent input from either front or backseat.
  7. G is for neutral position by default. Shift+G brings the gear up given you've raised the lever lock (dunno which key). CTRL+G lowers the gear. I know ot's been almost couple of weeks but just in case ur still struggling with it. It's been discussed a lot. The little lever lock easily goes unnoticed.
  8. Although you two stand more or less correct, wouldn't it be easier to state that one nautical mile equals to one latitude minute - regardless to the equator? Also I don't see why you should be converting anything as per cockpit either. Memorizing the F-15's corner speed will do you no good in an A-10 - although both using the same units for speed. I get the idea if your team is flying both eastern and western aircraft - no shortcuts there, rules of thumb come in handy in that case...
  9. inclinined because? Really? I dont think ED has given any thought on simulating blood circulation in such detail. It's just a flight simulator aftertall. Am I alone on this? there you go - fixed could be, like hitting the tanker boom... What I'm after is that if you carry out the manoeuver quickly enough, the the direction of the G-forces are not registered correctly hence the reversed animation.
  10. When slightly pulling the stick and starting a roll to either side and then promptly pushing the stick forward you get a blackout. Shouldn't you be suffering from a red-out in such a flight condition? Also the blackout doesn't seem linear at all, it's very sudden. I was able to reproduce this in both the L-39 and F-15. If you however start pushing the stick just slightly slower, you get a proper gradually appearing red-out effect. Anyone able to reproduce this? I've had a few collisions with mother earth fighting a blackout in a roll with instinctive maneuvering e.g. pushing the stick while blacking out... 11. I endorse this, I thought my Saitek X52 wasn't working with DCS some 5 years back. I went and bought TM warthog and Saitek Combat pedals only to realize I didn't use the slider on the bottom:book: Didn't regret my decision on the new hardware though.
