  1. It was debated as the doctrine at the time suggested that it would not be required in future combat however the RAF Typhoons do have a gun, whether they have loaded ammunition in it is another debate but that doesn't quantify it being disabled.
  2. Absolutely, I would have no issue to pay to have an upgrade of it. If that included an update into a dolphin-nosed variant, I wouldn't object!
  3. I think you are quite correct, it is pylons or nose.
  4. Agreed with rossmum, I'd actually prefer it left as it is. Mission makers on MP rarely put down anything other than RUS or US so it's nice to have my own option.
  5. It's different than the Mi-24 and I'm not sure entirely related as the reason for the problem thus far has been side-by-side seating. I asked BigNewy about it, this was his response;
  6. Tail light is on but the front lights aren't functioning without pylons attached. Should look like this:
  7. Hello all, There were a fantastic pair of IRGC liveries for the Mi-8 on the user files that seem to have disappeared and I don't have them any longer. Any idea what has happened to them or anyone able to link them? Thanks!
  8. A slight side-track but still relevant; You said "...what we are doing with the new multicrew for the UH-1H is going to lay foundations for future multicrew with more than 2 crew.", does this mean that it is easily transferable to the Mi-8 as well?
  9. To be fair, it does seem that the Mi-8 has took a back seat while they try to get further modules out, which is probably why it is being interpreted that it is no longer an issue of concern.
  10. I regret not backing this, as was also said earlier in the thread. Day one purchase from me.
  11. As an ex-CNC machinist, I would advise you to get some decent safety glasses if you haven't done so. Otherwise, crack on!
  12. If anyone has the time or inclination, I'd love a Russian CSAR/SAR skin and I'm sure quite a few others would as well. Something of this vein? http://www.blueskyrotor.com/performance/illustrations/Mil/Terminator-Mi_8-AMTSh/ground_display.jpg
