  1. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/152013-how-to-feather-doras-prop/

Hi! I didn't want to necro the topic. It seems that there's no way to feather the prop in D9 since there are no pitch controls in the cockpit whatsoever. Do you have any other information?

  2. Hi, I did a "slow" repair (see screenshot), now Caucasus, Nevada and Normandy (V.1) do work. Channel and Persian Gulf don't work as expected. greets mugen Ps: I added tracks for each map and dcs.log. Maybe move this thread over to Channel or Persian Gulf forum section. 3. Hi, Issue-Report Game-Version: Open Beta 2.8.4.38947 Issue: Train sunken into railway tracks on maps: Normandy and Channel My guess: zero point offset (height) does not fit railway track height for maps: Normandy and Channel Evidence: see screenshots To reproduce: On Normandy and/or Channel map, place a train on a railway (add DRG86 and waggons). Run Mission and press Ctrl + F12, to watch external view of train. greets mugen Ps: Caucasus, Nevada, PersianGulf do work like expected.
  4. Ah, i see now what you're at. Sorry, I misunderstood this. greez mugen
  5. Hi philstyle, those shreds of clouds do exist IRL when it is raining, at least sometimes. The video is private but I can PM you the URL, if you want me to. greez mugen
  6. Hi, I think both of you are right. There is an elastic bounce, i.e. what BuzzU describes. The bounce cannot exceed its initial height (if acc. only by g force). And there is a aerodynamic bounce, i.e. what OnlyforDCS describes. Here the bounce height depends on forward speed and AoA. Gras runways are in fact more forgivin for taildraggers because of the lesser friction of the ground surface in relation to the rubber tires. Its is not the up/down movement that is importent here. It is the side slip movement that is dampned on a grass or better to say "not tarmak" surfaces. The tendency to groundloop because of side slip while touch down is lesser on runways with lesser friction and is there for more forgivin. greez mugen Ps: I own both ac but i prefer the 190 over the 109 because the 190 demands a more tactical approach when you want to fight.
:music_whistling: greez mugen
  8. Good P-51 Video I like this one
  9. Hi DieHard, that's easy. He says: Achtung! Feindliche Flugzeuge über unsere Truppen in [ZQ47 | ZQ96 | DK9] erkannt. Attention! Enemy planes spotted, above our Troops in [ZQ47 | ZQ96 | DK9]. So, you only need to understand the grid square. greez mugen btw: @eekz: ... über unsere Truppen ... is bad grammar. should be: ... über unseren Truppen ... :smilewink:
  10. Happy new year everybody, i bought the D9 Kompendium from http://www.luftfahrt-archiv-hafner.de/ In the manual of the Jumo A-1 u. C-0, i've read about run up procedure. There is a section about prop feathering to check prop adjustment. (1st pic) Does someone know, how to feather the prop of the DCS Dora? When i visited a guy who is building a Konrad, this guy told me that late Doras Props had an automatic, mechanical prop feathering system. (2nd pic) Does anybody have any further infos about this? Thanks in advance. greez mugen
  11. What a pity, I'm going to be at http://www.oldtimer-hahnweide.de on that weekend. mugen lots of fun to all the participants .. :pilotfly:
  12. Thanks eekz! This is a lot better than the large imposters, in my eyes. And, i can turn it off, if i want to. Great! greez mugen
