Thank you for the information guys - I will stay with my first intention - to have the reverb released and properly tested in our environment.

Interesting comments here - I am on Rift and considering a change - I read the 5K+ as giving a second to none FOV- a game changing feature. There are also a few drawbacks around 5K+, but I am missing a comment on 5K+ resolution compared to the Rift, ideally from a former Rift user and now having been on 5K+ for some time. Can anyone contribute?

I discovered this thread abt. 10 days ago. After having read it for a minute, I was ready to place an order for the product described.Still not done - I simply got caught by what was happening right under my eyes. A forum assisted product development- WOW what a thing! Maybe a glimpse into the future of very close marketdriven productdev. I had to read every post. MilesD - You have, out of your own head and out of your own pockets, lead this unique project. You - Sir- have earned my complete respect and I am so glad that you have found us on the forum to be a shiny thing, as you yourself and FireCat are shiny fellows. FireCat - Please add me to the release list - This is going to be fun! - I am on Rift(maybe updating to the upcoming HP, but foresee no adapting problems).- 3385 replies

A most interesting read from a RL pilot, so Cake thank you very much for your input. Personally I do not think more needs to be said.

So far VR is perfect for flight sims and will, of course, be better with time. For the rest of the gaming- and movie- industries, I am not sure they have even yet started to adapt to the possibilities offered by VR.

To the whole of Heatblur: Thank you! and I expect to be impressed.

Another fun thing in VR, if nobody has mentioned it before, Eject and have nice parachute ride.

Thank you for a very informative review.

David OC, Your view on the use of VR vs Screen makes perfect sense. I only think the VR option should be mentioned for people about to spend money on screens.

I would really recommend for you to go VR. There is a whole wealth of information on these headsets under the heading "Input and Output", section "Virtua Reality" on this forum. I am not alone when, I say that "Once tried, you will never go back to "Screenflying" again". It is just so damned realistic a flying experience, you wont believe your eyes. There must be a computer outlet, somewhere close to you, where you can have a hands-on initial experience of your own. (If not search one.) Good Luck!
