  1. I've noticed the rudder seems to move on it's own without any input from the pilot now after this patch, and seems to be contributing to the excessive "wobble" the F1 now has. It's almost like pilot induced oscillation, except the plane is doing it. And I've checked my axis bindings too to make sure it wasn't that. (twice in fact) In general, the flight control axes now feel very disconnected from what the plane is actually doing as a result of your input. If this is more true to life, then that's good, but if not it's a pretty major issue.
  2. Brilliant work, a real shame Razbam hasn't taken your work and implemented it into the core module.
  3. That actually doesn't look as complicated as I thought TBH. Kinda F-16 meets MiG style. The stick looks like that old VKB Mamba funnily enough.
  4. Yeah, base is beyond the price I would pay for something so far unproven, but the grip does interest me.
  5. Oh wow only the first 100? Makes me feel a little special!
  6. IIRC the freebies were only for the pre-orders from the TM site. My pre-order was 11th June and had them.
  7. Not the whole mod (thought that was obvious given the line I actually quoted) but JUST the " incorrect sRGB gamma applied by the game" bit. Seems like something that really should have been caught by ED before now.
  8. Has this been reported to ED so they can actually fix it? Seems like this would be better for everyone and not just VR users.
  9. That, and the master mode switch (index finger button on TMWH nose) is now the recce event mark switch. But yeah, you have the same button count just different layout that would be a little awkward for the A-10C at least, as one of the hats (TMS/DMS/CMS/Trim) are going to have to be spread over multiple buttons rather than on one hat. Which one you spread out is of course up to you. That said the A-10C/F-16C that the original Warthog is based on have one of the more complicated HOTAS setups outside of stuff like the F-22/35. So at least for nearly all flight sim planes, even to DCS level they should provide more than enough buttons.
  10. She may not be finished quite yet, but boy does she look good!
  11. I mean, here in the UK it's only £9 more than a T50CM2 grip. T-50CM2; £170.96 (not including the shipping which is about 15 euros, comes to about £188 w/shipping) TM Hornet; £179.99 and has a free shipping option. The TM Warthog stick w/gimbal is £233.33. on Amazon right now. It's not THAT expensive here, and that's all with 20% VAT (tax)
  12. Looks like it's gonna be a fun weekend then, CV1 > Reverb is gonna be one hell of a jump!:joystick:
  13. Yeah, the hype is real and I am pretty sure my GPU is crying already! :pilotfly:
  14. Personally, I would rather have an F-16A. Would certainly be different!
  15. I want to agree, but ATC/AI LSO should not be "premium content", that is core functionality of a carrier-based aircraft, just as much as the carrier itself is. Premium content is new campaigns, terrains, missions and modules, or even new aircraft sub-variants (FW190D9 and A8 as an example). ATC in particular is a core feature of a flight sim, carrier based or not. Charging for it because you are only just now getting around to adding something in the sim that should have been there a long time ago is a little shady. Especially when the carrier module is allegedly more than just an ATC/LSO upgrade, why not just have the new comms system on both carriers? Or is the carrier module so lackluster as to not be worth people's money without shoehorning in what should have been in place back when the Hornet + Stennis released? Add to that the breaking of MP compatibility you have to ask questions about the direction DCS is going. All modules being able to play together without everyone owning them used to be a central point of DCS "World" too. DCS becoming similar to some of the unnamed civilian flight sims in terms of milking customers will almost certainly push a ton of players and newcomers away. Since the WWII asset pack fiasco I have pretty much moved to another sim for most of my WWII needs. Alternatively stop calling them "modules", at this point they are just plane addons. We don't even get plane appropriate callsigns anymore with a module (A-10C is still the only one to do so IIRC), and often not even a campaign.
  16. Yeah, the DCS P-51 gun harmonization is awful, makes it almost impossible to get any use out of the guns outside of the 1000-1100ft convergence point. To make it worse it's done in a box pattern, not to converge on a single point. If the I-16 uses point harmonization, that alone would make it substantially more effective within the convergence range IMO. Especially given how DCS damage modelling tends to be.
  17. Can I ask what systems the NS430 interacts with that justifies the extra charge? Just so I am clear on what exactly I would be paying for. No, I am saying the 3D version requires the Popup version before it will work in the L-39 or Mi-8. At least according to the descriptions. Basically you are forced to buy the popup version even if you only want the 3D one for X aircraft.
  18. Uh, you missed the bit where you have to buy the popup version before you can use the 3d version. "For work of this module, you must also own the DCS: NS 430 and DCS: L-39 Albatros modules." Charging 6USD/aircraft but with it actually integrated is "ok" I guess, but then forcing you to buy the popup version (which is literally the "systems" of the module") then 6USD/aircraft for what amounts to a 3d model placed in a cockpit with the popup rendered to the model instead of a popup is absurd at best.
  19. Just dropping by to say I got mine installed just fine. The calibration wouldn't stay centered until I ran the calibration a 3rd time (3rd times the charm eh?), but all is perfect now. It's just a much better slew overall, and it is stunning that TM didn't do this in the first place. Brilliant work Deltaalphalima1!
  20. Yeah, remember "2017, no exceptions"? Looks like it will be at best Sept-Oct 2018. Q1/2 2019 would also not be a surprise, given Heatblur and DCS' timescales in general. This is the only Bluefor plane that has me seriously hyped, an I absolutely look forward to it's release, whatever year that ends up being. :music_whistling:
  21. If we are getting countermeasures, do you have an idea of the RWR model we will be getting yet?
