Yes, I know it,TDC Depress exit SPOT also UNDESIGNATE exit SPOT but which botton/action does lock target?

When I'm using radar in RWS SPOT mode I cannot lock target, when I pressing TDC depress it return to scanning. I can lock only when I press TDC RIGHT but it lock in STT mode, I would like to stey in RWS. Is it possible and is it correct to lock only by TDC RIGHT I=in SOPT mode ?
