  1. Tried to order both, one is live, one is dependant on orders. I see the issue Mike, you have to guarantee a minimum of 5. No paypal so sorry, count me out but they are awesome shirts.

  2. Water off a ducks back bro. I had that last week. I was buying a shit load of electronics from China, not a great amount of money here, but you know what I mean. I always use immediate payment, it's linked from paypal to my paypal bank account, immediate transfer. Kept bouncing at the last authentication screen. I was frantic as it had never happened before. I changed browsers from firefox to chrome and it went straight through. I have so many anonymity addons on firefox that after the latest update it blocked a friendly pop-up. Worth checking.

  3. "PS: Take a look at the pic. It's a sad view. Isn't it?

(The LeftSideController works with a Leonardo under MMJoy2)"

Tekkx: Not at all. It rocks m8, you have integrated a lot of stuff there, it's not easy is it?

Nobody in this thread will ever slag someones pit off. The problem is, now you got that working together, I bet you decide! maybe I'll make some new switch panels and then you are lost alongside us.

I was invited to a quiz the other night locally, and whilst there I had to go for a piss. In the toilet I couldn't hose because a servo pattern came into my head. You know what I mean.

  4. Cant help you here either bro, sorry.

I dont use it at at the moment.

I'm sure John will come in with a solution.

Moving to inches is a grey area, I learned in inches (Scotland) but use mm now because that's the way the EU has become. Easy for me to sort but some guys learning might have an issue. Hope that doesn't sound cheeky, not meant to be.

Hang in there m8. I was trying since Friday night. I kept getting the same issue and when I was downloading A10-C for my development machine, kept getting 1.5 update and A10-c update failures. It did flag up one message on my firewall rule (Zone alarm) and I certified the update exe. 1600hrs today uk, it just flew in. Eagle dynamics servers do work well. I have a 200 meg pipe into the house and I was getting 130. I had the same issue, it just hung and the game would not start until I had completed the partial download which had failed.

  6. Wow where did that come from Oh another thread where I thanked John for sharing his knowledge . Sorry no pics of parts I have made here check the for sale section and my thread for pic of real parts. Have a great day:thumbup: ...

I ain't gonna get into a spat over this but:

Lets split your sentence into 3 (which refers to the way you constructed your sentence)

"John thanks for the in site of how precise your control and equipment has to be to achieve the high quality of light plates." 11-15-2015, 04:37 PM

It was not punctuated in any way to show your appreciation or distaste.

    1. Maybe: "John! Thanks for the insight of how precise your control and equipment has to be"

    2. "I don't have the equipment to acheive your high quality of light plates."

    3. "Is there anyway you can help me, any pointers?"

    Yours was like an insult.

"Your starting to sound like some one I know". 11-17-2015, 12:55 AM

If that is not passive aggressive, I don't know what is!

You left it open to interpretation viz. "Your starting to sound like my mother." "You sound like a windbag, I can do this."

There are many ways anyone can take this, only "you will know" sound familiar?

I am not saying what you post is irrelevant, I am politely asking you to think before you post.

  7. I have my panels done this way too but John is right. I screwed up many when laser engraving due mostly to the paint not being entirely even across the surface giving me white and gray lettering where the paint was thicker. Besides, fresh paint is a magnet to small particles and will ruin your panel appearance in a level not tolerable for many. In your photo is noticeable a thread or a paint clot in the lower left corner of the panel.

And other problems is that after some use we'll have scratched and fade out panels..

Definitively not a for a commercial end user product

You know something, it doesn't look as bad as you think. Everybody starts somewhere. Laserwise speak to Anton, he helped me immensely. He is a hive of knowledge. I really only finished upgrading my laser 2 months ago and I am experimenting and making so many fcuk-ups but it is the only way to learn. I had an issue with it not cutting some corners and no matter what I did aligning the mirrors. It was tube from China, they had set it up not horizontal so it was never going to track properly 300mm on the Y.

Properly set up a Chinese 40 is like 37 but I can engrave glass using a 50.2, the lightobject air assist and lens upped the z table to 40.3 using the outside of the lens carrier. If that makes sense.

Can I ask a question Ztrooper?

What are you using as your panel fascia, are u using the black premade stuff with the white background? It's only 0.6mm is that the stuff.? I take it you are using air assist/blower to remove the shit before it settles.

  9. Be a little careful with the laser - some materials put out nasty fumes that can be bad for both the laser and you

    Cheers

    Peter

    Cheers Pete.

I have full protection and air vents. I was a commercial diver for years in between the Marines and the Police so I have adapted a simple positive pressure rig. But yeah heads up m8, appreciated, maybe help some others.

  10. Wow DM is offended:

No emoticons, looks like it was not said in gest. It appears you really have a beef because people actually have self built cockpit stuff, show us yours!

I will miss this place if I get banned but your sarcasm really identifies you as an individual. I won't miss the duplicity. Sometimes you are an absolute gentleman, other times a complete............ By the way it's "insight"

  11. Lynx, I may be going out on a limb here but....... why would DCS-bios be needed. I think it could do it but your howking a lot of servo motors there, I don't think it is designed for that. In a situation like this would surrond motion not be directly proportional to stick movement? Maybe a solution to fit 4 ir's below the hotas so the don't interfere with track-ir. thinking out of the box here.

  12. That fuel gauge rocks John. I love the way you have managed to keep the depth (if that's the right description) compact.

I think your ability to fabricate the pcb's makes it so much easier.

I build something and it looks like scaffolding round a monument, rip it down because then I find that I can make it slimmer, build again, rip it down,

ad infinitum hence I aint got anything completed yet apart from the aluminium cockpit stuff.

Maybe I am going to have to learn how to make a pcb, along with learning autocad, arduino, DCS-Bios, recap binary and hex coding, lasers etc :) I nearly gave up but I get so much enjoyment out of it, I would miss the stress.

  13. My update went ok but there were a few issues maybe relevant, maybe not.

After the update when it booted up into desktop for the first time a small window on the bottom left came up which said " Windows has removed:

CPU-z and speccy as they were not compatible with this new version of windows 10" Didn't give me the option, it just did it so some people will have stuff removed.

Secondly this might affect some people who have DCS on a separate drive.

Under the quick access window to the left of computer devices and drives there are now duplicate entries. See below. Windows 10 continously removes my Gigabyte USB3 motherboard driver and replaces it with some shit one that doesn't work. I am working on it but its really annoying. Just a heads up.

  14. No offence to you but this seems sketchy. No guarantee that you'd just bail with someone elses $50.

Unfortunately I did fail to abide by the T&C and I put my hands up. End ov.

You however "No offence" did offend me. I have been on the boards for a long time. I have interacted with more than a few members here, we swap items and help each other. I have more than 4000 uk pounds invested in my pit so inferring that I may be "sketchy" is offensive. $50.00 is a drop in the ocean.

Yes I have a red "rep marker", that was because I stood up to someone who will remain anonymous. "Never judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes"

So I'm not ripping you a new arsehole, I'm asking you before you make a comment on a forum board, do your homework.

  15. Guys I'm sorry for the noob question but I will explain why. I have my flight sim in another room and my "build, test and play around with arduino, DC-bios and helios" in a separate room. My test and play around machine has a more comfortable seat and access to 3 pcs so I do my meddling here then move to the sim machine. Right thats explained. Here is the question. Is there an option to put my a10-c in a parking bay with the systems up and running so I can work without going through the start-up procedure?. I don't see an option for starting on ramp already fired up. I know its there can you point me how to get there.

    Cheers
