Grunf has a point. Pretty sure you brakes are messed up. Check you axis and reverse it in the joystick setup.

The hook on the Tiger is for emergencies only. That's supposed to trap to a cable on the runway to avoid overrun. No F-5 ever landed a carrier.

My two cents: If necessary use left or right brakes to align the airplane at lower speeds.

My 2 Cents:
Vinny, check if pitch and yaw dampers are on. Check both switches just aft the Throttle quadrant and radar controls.
Ponhard, configure your left and right brakes. It helps with controllability. Do not use steering above 60kts.

shadow play can be manually started, what geforce experience are you running ??
Hi Jamison,
I just downloaded it. It is 3.1.2.31. I don't even see the shadowplay tab in it. Managed to configure shortcut keys and folders, but not sure what to do anymore.

Good morning gents,
I am using FRAPS to record my flights, but I was told that shadowplay is much better. I managed to install NVIDIA Experience, but it doesn't find DCS.
Is there a tutorial about it? I thank you in advance for any good info.

Anyone managed to get a handle on the M2000, I'm getting nailed constantly by them! They just turn to fast and regain energy so easy. The best I've done is almost reverse an overshoot with a barrel roll but I missed the shot and he went full AB and I lost him!

The way I managed to go through was practicing HO passes. If you fail the HO, bring the fight down, not up. F-5Es don't have power to fight Mirages above 20k.
I passed when got the first 2000 in a HO pass. The second I missed and just extended and ran. The mirage got confused and engaged the instructor and shot it down. I just ran from the second engagement and managed to pass it.
At this moment I am in the second F-18 setup and missing only the Mig-21 and F-15 besides that.

As Mad-mm said, dark and cold at Nellis, Agressors' apron. You navigate to the area after TO to a holding position and when you call ou READY, the fights start. After completion, you navigate back, but the mission gives you a successful message once you leave the area and you may end it.
I preffer to navigate back and shot a Start (arrival) to Nellis. Pretty fun.
I strongly recommend that campaign.

My two cents: remember to retract spoiler completely via throttle knob and set trim to 7 (1 tank and missiles), 8 or 9 (really hvy).

Got killed for the first time in the campaign against the mirage today. Killed first one with a deflection shot after first merge. Second one I purposefully wanted to drag it out and see what happened. Lost sight for about 5 seconds and that was all I needed to get in a 3 minute defensive weave on the deck, a few gun rounds into me later I was done.
Welcome to my life in the last three days! I decided if I'd killed the first one, I'd run from the second after the first pass... That's what I did.:joystick:

Why set 320 if it's the 335 radial? Why not set 335?

I'm struggling with the F4s. After the merge and the turnaround, I get maybe one chance to hit them while they cross in front of me. After that, they hit the burners and climb to 40k and I don't get another chance to shoot them.
Remember to bring the fight low. You don't have pwr to fight the F-4s above 20kft. Maybe they go stupid and break the HD.

Today I managed to pass the M2000Cs!!! UHU!!!!
I was practicing for a HO pass and run. On the first engagement I manage to kill the pilot. On the second one, I went HO, missed the pass and just ran like hell. The Mirage pilot got confused and engaged the instructor... Man, I RAN! More than Forest Gump. So he called Terminate on the 5min mark and I got rid of this phase. Now is to train for the Canadians.
Btw, stay around .9 before the HO so you can control the plane better.
This training is paying off. Yesterday I went in the Fishbed x Mig server and got 3 Mig 21s (cannon, AIM-9B and AIM-9P5).
I love this campaign!

One question I have is bank angles for the fam flight and ingress to the area. I have been using a 30 degree bank angle and I haven't been getting all the calls. Plus I somehow find myself in the being told to check my position or a container warning.

For the G warm up,I go AB, bank 90 and pull, then revert right and pull. I then recover the speed.
Container calls are due to faul navigation. So far I got it only once in this campaign. We get these calls in RL as well.

But I got killed twice by HO passes during practices against the Mirage 2000Cs...
Not a fair play! LOL
