  1. American Airlines, JetBlue, and Frontier
  2. I will neither confirm nor deny that I may or may not have downloaded and possibly installed into my copy of DCS for the soul purpose of making a mission where aliens escape from Area 51.
  3. https://skyvector.com/?ll=36.660046878029455,-114.80932616785758&chart=301&zoom=7 Simply right-click on an airport to find the information, Creech and Groom do not have published IAPs
  4. The LHA(D) Class ships do not carry an indigenous AEW or Refueling aircraft (yet for the refueler, the V-22 is being looked at for both refueling from a CV and LHA(D)). The USMC does not have any AEW platforms, rather they rely on Navy E-2C/D and USAF/NATO E-3 AWACS for AEW support. In a situation where a Marine expeditionary force is required, you can bet a CSG or land based support is not far behind.
  5. There is a trigger function to remove trees and objects using a trigger zone.
  6. Made a mission yesterday where an AI Mi24 went low to avoid stingers and flew through the [colideable] trees without damage.
  7. The world is flat, sooooo......
  8. Most likely was a R5D (Navy C-54) they had them up through the early '80s.
  9. ^ this
  10. We had the same thing happen at NBG. During the airshow, the Harrier demo drifted off the concrete part of the runway onto the asphalt and they had to re-do that part.
  11. Watching these VTOL videos, all I want is DCS to model the melting of the asphalt under the heat. Great video Jabbers, you are really letting us see how it all works. Keep it up.
  12. It will be released when then becomes now.
  13. I meant the E model, some ANG units got several ex-USN A-7Es as the Navy sunsetted them. But yeah the 4450th did have a large collection of A-7's.
  14. Just remember kids, a happy wife makes a happy life.
  15. I read it in my Doug Masters voice.
  16. These have been my thoughts as well, combined with the lack of updates to 1.5 or 2.1 I think we could possibly expect something in the very near future.
  17. They've been pushing the teasers about the new Caucasus map for a couple of weeks now. I think there is a likelihood of news about the merge soon(ish).
  18. 3. Get a cool nickname (also applies to pilots).
  19. So did the USAF towards the end, they were all with ANG units though.
  20. It works for me, you just now have to place the mods folder in the DCS saved games file rather than the DCS root folder.
  21. Sith confirmed it, release imminent. Nothing stops the hype train :D
  22. Very nice video.
  23. The t-45 Goshawk is about as close to the T.1 as the F-16A Blk 10 is to the F-16 Blk 60. Entirely different air frames, systems, performance, etc. Now that being said, having to learn how to do massive systems management in the combat environment, then the A-10C is the best place to start. If your looking for something that will let you click around the cockpit with some basic systems and a lot of go-fast, then the F-5E is for you. The Mirage is just well.....French. I would start with the A-10C though if you haven't bought a DCS study level module yet. Its the most seasoned of all of them to-date. There is a lot of content out on YouTube, these forums, etc. But the reality is there is no 1:1 for the Hornet.
