Well, this news means I've got to get to grips with the FC version now before this full fidelity one arrives...

If it comes down the line that we would have to pay for skins, (hopefully it won't) then I'd just do without... the fact that there is no official word on this makes me think they may have a problem in this regard... the information void at the moment is not helping skin makers and campaign makers that help and enhance the DCS product. Hopefully, our fears are unfounded and a solution will soon be forthcoming

Damn, been away for awhile, thought I'd check in to get some brand new skins for the remastered F-5... but no, the palaver still continues!

Well, it doesn't seem to be an easy fix... it's obviously not a game killer bug, so maybe they haven't given it any kind of priority.

If there is no longer an FC3 module, why does it keep showing that it exists, and that it needs to be installed?... or is it just one of life's little mysteries?

I did exactly that... did not solve the problem. I still get the warning that I need to install FC3... I have all the planes but they come up as individual aircraft for DCS, not under FC3. Is this by design though... is this how it is supposed to be after buying the upgrade to FC 2024?

Talk about flogging a dead horse...

I remember when another flight sim decided to use grinding and unlocks instead of continuing the tried and tested formula of it's predecessor... it went downhill rapidly and would have turned into a complete fiasco with fans hating it, if it hadn't been turned around by a new management... don't try and reinvent the wheel when the wheel is turning as it should.

Just read the first chapter ''Thunder Road'' and you'll be thinking, ''flippin eck!'' The risks these people took, and the courage to do it is unbelievable...

''Low Level Hell'' is a great read to wet your whistle before this comes out...

Not a problem is it... me, as a rule I never look at the rudder pedals while I taxi... I tend to be focused on watching where I'm going.

If you haven't already tried it, I'd recommend getting into the Huey... it's an art you will enjoy mastering, be sure

No problem here, take as long as you need to rectify the fault... I'll still be waiting for the release, and I certainly will not be refunding! Keep up the good work chaps... now, back to the Huey...
