. if people don't buy the new map but have the 44 map, and also have the relevant campaigns for it they are going to need it...

Maybe we should just stop using any kind of ordnance then, just fly around and enjoy the scenery... because any kind of weapon system an aircraft uses deals out death in many different horrific ways. Whether it's guns, missiles, bombs or rockets and napalm, they are all nasty bits of kit... but wait, I hope we don't hurt the pixel enemy too much!

If ever a map was needed in DCS, it's the Vietnam map... we have a few aircraft that we can use on it already, plus others inbound... please someone, make it happen

It's coming, that's the main thing... as long as it arrives that's all we need to know. I've still got a shed load of flying and learning on other things to keep me going.

I'd certainly buy an improved version of the A-10a... it gets my vote.

I'm on a pension... I think I could have stretched that extra fiver though to get the map if it stayed at that price. Still, as usual, it got put back to the original price as stated, so I don't have to live on gruel now for the next 4 weeks, lol!

I remember falling in love with the Phantom when I made the Airfix early US Navy version many, many years ago... I'll look forward to it's release in the future (hopefully).

1940's WWII detailed landscape is far different from the modern data that Orbx and FS use for their maps...
