  1. I've been listening to the podcast, enjoying it especially the special guests, the one on Vietnam MiG kills was really great!
  2. Have been looking forward, like many others, to this guides release . Many thanks for your hard work and dedication, it's highly appreciated!
  3. Thanks for downloadable map, much appreciated.
  4. As the title says I've just started reading this book, I've read some from Allies during WW2 but never from the Axis, so it'll be interesting. Any one else read it (this copy dated 1952)? Worther Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  5. Hi all, I've recently tried to map my MFG Crosswind pedals to various plane modules. I'm currently using Steam stable release (1.5.3) in Win10 and cannot map the rudder axis. The settings page will not let me assign any axis (even joystick twist X55). When I went into control settings page I deleted all 'phantom' standard mappings it had loaded for the MFG's (pitch, yaw, etc). Rudder pedals work fine in other modules and other applications. Do I have map all controls again from scratch to get round this? What is the best way of doing this for just SU-27 control scheme? Many thanks in advance for any advice offered. 6. Thanks for this guide I think its great!
  7. Thanks to all for your comments, I'll have a look at the Virtual Aerobatics server this afternoon, and see how it goes. Maybe I'll meet some of you in the virtual skies!
  8. Hi all, I've been playing DCSW for a year or so, and enjoy flying in single player - especially simple missions I have created. However, I'd really like to try out flying in a Multiplayer environment. To this end I have purchased a gaming headset and I've downloaded TeamSpeak. So earlier today I went into the Multiplayer section, but I couldn't decipher which server I should join, many were locked anyway and I'm looking for (at first) a semi casual experience. Due to other commitments I cannot sign up for specified squadron meeting times (unless they were very flexible). I can fly most of the planes, and use there weapons systems, SU-25, SU-27/33. F-15C, A10C. I'm currently learning Mig21 and the Huey/KA50. My main problem is I have never played online, and I'm not familiar with TeamSpeak either. Can anyone recommend a server I could find that welcomes newbies (to the online side - protocols etc) and preferably be a training/free flight type server to begin with. Also, any advice regarding TeamSpeak, and online etiquette would be appreciated. Thanks,
  9. I have to agree completely, I got mine Christmas Eve but have only recently had the time to assemble and set them up. The assembly was much easier than I had imagined (or worried). The youtube video was easy to follow. The calibration went fine. These are m very first set of pedals also, I sold a hardly used steering wheel to help fund them. It really does change the whole experience of flying using pedals instead of twist grip, it feels a lot immersive, I'm sure it will take some practice but so far I'm loving them. I'd rated them 10/10!
  10. Hi, Thanks for this list, if you have time my info could be updated... Worther_1 Ordered 22nd October S/N; 1511 Location; Lincolnshire, England Thanks
  11. Well I'm one happy bunny today...my Crosswind pedals arrived by courier this morning...the missus checked the box for damage, signed for them, then disappeared to wrap them up for tomorrow! So close yet so far! Worther_1
  12. That's what I had to do, got same results as per your screenshot first time round, then I backed up the folder and added the new and old files (updated where needed). Worked fine! Worther_1
  13. Just got my serial no: and tracking number! Wow wee! Can't wait for delivery now... Worther_1
  14. Thanks! It seems ages since I ordered them, the missus is going to wrap the box up when it arrives for Christmas. I'll have to battle my 6 year old twins to get to the tree on Christmas morning! These will be my first pair of rudder pedals (I have X55 HOTAS) so I'm really looking forward to it. Worther_1
