  1. Thanks for sharing. Is there a reason that you had voice attack do individual key presses instead of multiple keys at once with pauses in between?
  2. That's awesome, thanks for sharing! Would you be willing to share your voice Attack commands so others can replicate this?
  3. Not mine, credit to Drac https://forums.eagle.ru/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=197661
  4. I've noticed this too, even with the brightness cranked is hard to see during the day, but only sometimes...
  5. Indeed the frequencies are listed. My apologies! Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  6. Copy, thanks for the response. I was having difficulty with whiplash's frequency and don't recall seeing it on the kneeboard. I'll try again tonight!
  7. Is there a list of radio frequencies for the missions? I'm trying to do mission 3 and the radio presets do not work for me, the preset wheels just spin from 1-20 and there is no radio preset tab in the 2.7 open beta mission editor. I can't communicate with the jtac as the frequencies are not listed in the kneeboard, please help!
  8. Bind it to your HOTAS or use voice attack. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  9. I don't understand, I think that you're saying it worked on the Tomcat, but I asked if this works on the A-10? What are the commands? In the A-10 it doesn't work if you say "Select" then the radio frequency.
  10. Does anyone know if the A-10 module supports manual tuning of radios per the manual excerpt below? I tried searching and experimenting but no go. I'm trying to use VAICOM pro to manually tune the 3 radios on the A-1OC II (AM/FM/UHF).
  11. I did a search and didn't see it before I posted..how do you find bugs that are already reported?
  12. I updated the files for all of the maple flag campaigns by changing the aircraft to A-10C II in the mission editor, everything seems to work.
  13. The HMCS symbology on status page for mark/steerpoint labels incorrectly turns airspeed on/off, which is the item under it. Status for other labels higher up on the list are correctly aligned, but at some point it shifts to the next item on the list.
  14. I didn't hear anything but "looking good, cadet", and no justification for the u rating was given. I'm positive I didn't miss anything.. Sent from my GT-I9505G using Tapatalk
  15. I also found a bug in bft01..I waited to shut down until after parking. Completed all the steps, waited about a minute after complete shutdown and received a "u" rating with no explanation. Very frustrating. I ended up editing the lua file to advance to the next mission but I don't think someone should have to do that for a paid campaign..
  16. YMMV..I enjoy my X55, with a small addition to the hand rest on the stick so I can reach all the buttons. It's not a perfect product but I've never owned a X52 to compare it to.
  17. I've had a much better experience with the game using a Xbox 360 controller versus keyboard/mouse. Much easier to control and makes combat more enjoyable as well. I have the difficulty turned up to the second most difficult setting to keep it challenging. Awesome game! It's been W3 over DCS since I got the game!
  18. Got it for free with my video card, spent about an hour in game today, enjoying it so far! No experience with the first two games though.
  19. Did you try changing the pixel clock or did you just open the program? Silly question, I know..just double checking!
  20. I did notice a difference, mainly when there are a lot of objects or vehicles around, the drop to 60 fps is noticeable when compared to 50. Is it worth the stress to the hardware? I think so. My CPU is overclocked to 4.4 ghz from 3.5 and it's rock solid. Granted, this is with an aftermarket cooler, and monitors don't have coolers. Also, I haven't touched the voltage on my video card as it doesn't struggle with DCS. However, I do hope for better hardware optimization with DCS 2.0.
  21. Hello all, just wanted to share something I stumbled upon that helped me. The video card overclocking utility "EVGA Precision X" allows you to change the pixel clock for your display, essentially "overclocking" your monitor and allowing you to run a higher framerate if your monitor refresh rate is acting as a bottleneck (assuming your video card is powerful enough). From anandtech: "Next up is the Pixel clock feature, where you can manually adjust the pixel clock used to drive your monitor, in essence allowing you to overclock the refresh rate of the monitor. I really like the fact that EVGA decided to integrate NVIDIA’s monitor overclocking concept into their utility, as it's a feature not found on any other overclocking utility we've used. Though when discussing this feature lets also keep one thing in mind: not all monitors can be overclocked, so make sure to do plenty of research before utilizing this tool." http://www.anandtech.com/show/8589/anandtech-guide-to-video-card-overclocking-software/5 My GTX 970 was easily able to run 60 fps with vsync turned on, but after tweaking the monitor's pixel clock, it now runs at 75 fps. Note: you run the risk of damaging your hardware by changing the pixel clock. My monitor has been at 75 hz for a while now and I've personally not had any issues. Hope this helps someone!
  22. Awesome, cool to know that other military folks play DCS!
  23. It was nice to see A-10s instead of the the usual prop planes/gliders here! What do you teach at Ft. Carson?
