  1. Thank you SithsPawn, ED and Matt for taking the time to share this with us. You are never wrong to do the right thing, even tough some will indeed complain. If you would find the cure for cancer, some would complain that the medicine taste bad !!! Thank you again. I cannot wait to sit on the tarmac and look at the beautiful sunset... oh wait, this is a combat flight simulator... oh well, not my fault if you make it look so good.... still gonna watch the sunset! Gorilla out!
  2. Humm, I was indeed in electro-optical. Thanks for your response.
  3. Greetings, I went on the 104th last night and flew the MIG-29 for the first time (after doing the training in SP and read the manual). All my experience in DCS is A-G (KA-50, SU-25T, A-10C, Huey). So... I am ashamed and livid at myself cause I shot down a friendly (Mirage 2000 that I forgot the name off). I am so sorry fellow simmer. I did read the manual and did the training as stipulated above. How come the manual says that on the HUD "friendly have an identification marking in the form of a second row of dots positioned above the main one". So, I locked on and shot at a single row of dots on my HUD... and it was a friendly. I just don't understand. I apologized and left the server since I don't belong there as I don't know what I'm doing. Can someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction? Again, sorry fellow simmer for shooting at you.
  4. Lucky you Phantom88! Good post.
  5. Starway Sir! Thank you a million times for this MOD. It's a new map. Donation coming your way. G.
  6. Good day Yeltzin. This a question for the ages. It's based on such a wide range of factors. It is not a question that can be answered in one word. But here is my humble opinion. If you have the money for the 980ti, go for it. This card will last you for a very long time. Even the 980, which is cheaper. If you are considering the 970, then I would also consider the AMD Radeon 390. I know, I know, a lot of us vouch for NVidia but, the 390 beats the 970 and it is cheaper and it has 8 gig's of RAM... so just consider it and look at the benchmark. So that's it. I would consider the 980 if you have the money or the AMD 390 or NVidia 970 as the second option. I am a NVidia fan but I am considering the AMD 390 for this coming Christmas (since I don't have the 980 budget). Cheers, G.
  7. It really depends on your budget. I run a GTX 760 oc 2gigs and I can play DCS pretty much maxed out. If you can afford it and since DCS 2.0 is on the horizon, go with a GTX980, even better, GTX 980ti but this one is a bit $$$. Sweat spot would be GTX970, in my humble opinion. Have a good one.
  8. Wow. Very detailed and well presented Hueyman.
  9. I am very interested... I live in Canada so I don't know if that would work with your plans. If not, no worries. I have to kick myself in the behind and start playing online instead of just single player. Thanks.
  10. Thank you for the link Reaper6. Very generous. I will definitely read and read again. Gorilla
  11. I just love the new sound. I'm no expert but wow, it sounds closer to the reality. I thought improvements on the KA-50 was pretty much over and ED comes up with this nice surprise. Thank you ED and good day to all the simmers on this forum. Keep flying guys...
  12. Excellent work Bigfoot. I have used your training missions several times. No complaints here. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing. I just bought the A-10C and I saw that you made a training video on JTAC/CDU coordinates. Downloading......
