Most of these issues are due to the limitation of DX9 which is what DCS currently supports. With EDGE , we would move to DX11 and should have much smoother , constant experience.

All the EDGE testers refrained from posting any kind of performance results so far. I would suggest , and many will probably agree - wait 1-3 months for EDGE to come out (beta at least i`m guessing ) and you will have plenty of benchmarks . at the moment we dont even know if the performence gap between AMD and Nvidia is fixed

Totally worth getting, beta means nothing in DCS in my opinion. products improve constantly even after not being called beta. and most people would not even pick up on the bugs there might still be in them.

OK then its normal behavior (it changes state from off position) it might not be an issue with the HOTAS after all did you cold start? if so did you make sure to turn on AC Gen and Inverter? Does it also happens on missions where you start in the air? if all else fails , i would consider resetting your configs (i think you need to rename your DCS folder in Save Game folder

don't bother with Target for A10C , its pointless and a pain , the default profile is perfect 1:1 to the ingame hotas when you move to idle , buttons 29 and 30 should not turn on , they should only turned on when you pass the detent for the off position did you change the detent plastic? its possible it is set too low on the axis now.

so just to make sure i got it straight , is the OP saying that he increased the resolution , then it was scaled back to native and it gave him better spotting distance?

But what is your native screen resolution ?

are you using more than one screen?

If there is no Axis for braking on that plane (some don't have it) then you need to use your pedal`s software to set it . also you wont get differential braking of course

I started training on the Dora yesterday , couldn't get it to take off after about 20 tries i thought at first maybe i`m missing some button for tail wheel steering.... anyways after i read a few pages i saw it said to check to make sure assisted take off is off . indeed once i turned it off (it was 100) i could take off on first try ( a terrible take off but take off nonetheless) i wonder how they (the Luftwaffe pilots) even trained for that...

I think i`m expecting this more than the F-18 for some reason.

If you install a module and don't active it , you will get graphics error when trying to fly the aircraft (no cockpit etc.)

i don't play the DCS warbirds ( i did buy the Mustang and Dora ) but flying the F-86 i realized i suck bad at dog fighting , the reason i never noticed it was due to the overpowered modern fighters that allow you to pull stuff that on older planes would stall and go out of control (and not to mentions that most of them are SFM) anyway , i fly a simple F-86 vs Mig-15 mission alot to better learn to control the throttle and maintain energy, and of course learn to shoot the cannon.

using free version i got it setup to show my MFCD`s on second monitor , i start the server but andorid app will not find the server (i checked IP of server in app and also ports) i disabled Firewall i tried with Galaxy Tab 4 and Nexus 5 phone

What is up with these people who complain about sales?! every other day ED pulls a sale, if you WANT your module NOW then buy it at whatever it costs now if you want to wait an unknown period for a 'flash sale' then wait (days , weeks, months etc.)

was not planning on getting the Sabre and the Dora in 2014, but it wont get any lower than 70% anyways so what the hell now my collection is again complete (until the 109 and the mig21 come out...)

Most people will have Windows partition smaller and separate from their Games/Media etc. partition . unless your are using SSD and want to have both on a fast drive.

i would love it for any software i use to have this option i.e i have my media player set to my speakers, and DCS send to the USB headphones (which are default device) and i can play DCS while my kid listens to songs.

What will you do about the fact that you can see them through the cockpit instruments and fuselage ?
