Why is it released again? Now we have 2 dlcs with the same name. Only difference in description is addition of "The NS 430 can also also be separately purchased as an integrated cockpit panel option for DCS: Mi-8MTV2 and DCS: L-39 Albatros" and lack of "Currently flat mode is incompatible with VR devices."
It's all super confusing
When EA starts (and we dont know, when that happens ) "The Mi-24P Early Access is planned for release in the 2nd quarter of 2021." this is as accurate as currently available
Didnt they recently publish roadmap with short, mid and long term projects? Not to mention, weekly dev reports and good number of posts on social media and related sites. Maybe folks dont know where to look? hmmm
while i dont know how to do it (never did it), id use existing replace mods- for example this one https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3303862/ and check out how it works/which file to swap etc
Standalone and steam versions receive discounts and sale periods but are separate. As far as i could see ED tries to keep them fairly close so for example while we have lunar sale on standalone, there's a high chance for dcs sale on steam starting tomorrow (there's gonna be lunar sale too). You can buy modules on steam and use them in standalone version
we have new thread about it weekly, search "steam vs standalone" etc :megalol: (but be prepared for heavy bias towards standalone since its standalone forum mostly)
Probably depends on a region since Steam features regional pricing. For example, for me most modules are cheaper on Steam (out of 4 i randomly checked only 1 was more expensive and by around 1%, while those cheaper ones were few % higher)
