  1. Just flew DCS for the first time in a while, after finally updating to 2.5 finally. Good news is it runs fairly well, I'm on medium settings with good FPS with only a few stutters. Still hoping to get those figured out. However I did one dogfight mission, P-51 against 109s, and boy did I realise why I stopped playing. There's just no fun in fighting against the AI at the moment with this kind of damage model. One 109 was peppered with shots, streaming from both radiators and then black smoke from the fuselage. He flew back to base. The other 109 I hit with probably 20-30 rounds, holes in the fuselage, wing, huge hole in the tail section, but he kept flying (at super high performance as the AI likes to do) and I had to escape to base. The new DM would really bring me back to this sim as it is very fun otherwise. Right now only ground striking would be fun...
  2. I don't see VEAO leaving as being a change in the scene at all. I never expected anything from them anyways.
  3. I adore the Blenny in cliffs of Dover, I'd love a light or medium bomber in DCS. Bring on the mosquito! Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  4. Another thing is the Spit radiators are under the wings, away from the main stream of air from the propeller, unlike in the P-51 or say the Hurricane or the Typhoon. The 109 also has the wing radiators and I've noticed that it will overheat quickly as well at high boost. You can still run the spit at 2800rpm but with lower boost just fine for longer time periods. 5. One small error, you used a Spitfire Mk. XIV rather than a Mk. IX. I would also remove the propeller blades from the front view, they are a little distracting and you don't see them when you're flying.
  6. Work in progress. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  7. Flak 18, Flak 36, and Flak 37 I think. Just look at the model viewer in game. There are two 20mm versions (a single mount and the flakvierling) and three or four 88mm versions.
  8. Will it have the FlaK? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  9. Hi guys, I am wondering if there is an option to make a keybind that instantly adjusts my zoom to a certain level, as in some other sims, where there is an option for a button for FOV 30 or FOV 90. The zoom in/zoom out commands are too slow and difficult to get to the right place for me, so is there a way to make such instant FOV commands? Thanks guys, Flare
  10. Since the update, my water looks like this: Any known fix?
  11. I have a mission where AI P-51s attack some Pz. IVs and Panthers. The tanks are also fighting some Shermans, a Firefly, and some Cromwells. The P-51s do seem to take out some tanks with bombs and rockets but perhaps it's the Firefly, I don't think that Shermans or 57mm Cromwells could frontally penetrate the Panther. 12. Why can't we have just some additional fields to the south or east so we can have missions where the Germans can actually take off further away from the battle area... Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  13. Not sure about those lines, I assume you mean the things that look kinda like waves near the shore? Also, a slightly unrelated question, but how did you get your chat box up in the top like that?
  14. I wish there were other fields a little further away, so we can give the allies fields near the beaches and the Germans fields further south and east. Were there not any German fields near the Falaise area? What about Le Havre? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  15. Do the gunners even work right now? Mine don't seem to fire at all.
