  3. Is there a way to set your "own ID" in the Hornet's DL the same way we do in the A10's SADL ? Seems like it defaults to the default callsigns assigned by the mission editor but I'd like to be able to punch in something else...
  4. For posterity: part number MT-0-103-E001-T000-RS . Winwing wanted 5$ for the switch and 57$ for shipping to Canada (???). Was able to source a similar switch locally and I did the repair. All the switches are soldered directly to the board unfortunately so it kindda sucked but all good now.
  5. personal move not shipping. lever broke, switch is still in the panel.
  6. Maybe they changed it ? ( I bought my unit pretty much when they released it for the first time). Mine was about half the size of the other switches on the panel and rectangular in shape as opposed to rounded/cylindrical. It also had quite a bit of play between the 3 stages. Don't know what happened on the moving truck but they wrapped the thing pretty well and it still arrived broken.
  7. The 3 way flap swith on my Winwing T/O panel broke off during a move. It was pretty flimsy to begin with. Anybody know of a more robust switch I could drop in to replace it ?
  8. So it is different for ships somehow ? We do run a dedicated server but we have zero skins installed on it per say. All aircraft and ground unit (we have canadian uniforms for the US M4 soliders) show up just fine for every client without having to install anything on the server.
  9. So our squadron wanted to use a custom skin for the Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates (we wanted to make it look like a canadian frigate). All our members report that the skin works fine in singleplayer, but nobody can see it once the same .miz is run in multiplayer. We tried replicating with other Oliver Hazard Perry skins found alone and got the same result everytime.
  10. +1 came to report the same thing. F14A butter smooth on Caucasus but I get a stutter every 20sec or so (seems to be regular interval) on the Syria Map. Tested with the F14A quick action case 1 supercarrier missions for both caucasus and syria.
  11. +1 Floating visor was also present in last update for me. Now I have missing textures + floating visor

"It has not been in development for seven years" That's the issue right there; You sold us on this feature and took our money 7 years ago, didn't work on it for literally years and redirected funds and ressources to sell us other half finished products. I did buy into a (at the time) open beta product, but wasnt told the project would literally be shelved for half a decade.
  13. +1 same. Freeze is so bad I often crash into the ground or other players. Doesnt happen in single player
  14. AI Hornet wingman dont mirror lead player external lights. They fly with all lights ON no matter what, even using formation lights during day time.

  16. Agreed, but you don't see anybody flying with formation lights on a bright sunny day. That needs fixing.
  17. The AI uses external lights all wrong and doesnt alway's mirror the player's lights when acting as wingman. Main issue is AIs use of formation lights in broad daylight; formation lights are for low visibility/night flying. In some aircraft, like the F18, AI uses formation lights regardless of human flight lead having them turned off. ED's promotional material is littered with screenshots of AI aircrafts flying with incridibly bright glowstick formation lights during the day and it really ruins the portrayal of otherwise almost photorealistic graphics from this game. It has been this way for years and years. I suggest: 1. Having AI wingmen mirror human flight lead light settings 1:1 at all times. 2. Modify AI external light usage so that it matches real SOPs. 3. Perhaps add an option in the mission editor in SET OPTION for AI. We can already restrict ECM, afterburner and other system usage. Why not have an external light option ? There could be a Day domestic (Nav+beacon), Night/low vis domestic (Form+Nav+beacon) and Night Tactical (all off) settings.
