    1.5.3 framerate

    Hi guys.

     

    Is it just me, or did you also lost a decent amount of frames on 1.5.3 with the same settings?

    In 1.5.2 it ran really smooth, but now.....really bad. And it's just my own training mission, just one airplane, no triggers, no ground units etc....

    L-39C missing gunsight

    You're welcome. We all get caught out that way from time to time, so I wouldn't worry about it.

     

    :-) I've tried yesterday and really interesting thing is, that the dismounted gunsight was unchecked by default, but still it wasn't present in the cockpit, so I checked/unchecked and it was ok. :-D

    Hi.

    Not sure, if it's the biggest problem on the world, but yesterday I tried to set time of day on 08:30 , January/Winter. When the sim loaded, it had dark nigh sky with stars with just a little yellowish glow on the horizon. It must be mistake, right? Because during this time it's already sunny morning.

    Airport lights visibility

    Hi. Just out of curiosity......don't You think, the airport lights are just too dim? I mean (and maybe it's just my problem), when You are at 3000 ft for example and it's night (no clouds, fog, etc), You really have to try hard to find the runway while flying downwind. In reality the lights of the runway shine like hell, so I miss a little more contrast. I have highest texture and effects settings and visibility is far. Thanks. :)

    I'm always amused by such discussions. I understand, when there is something obviously wrong. But when there is "something strange" about the FM....it's a little bit weird. I can apply the same for almost any airplane in DCS, because I don't fly these machines and MANY things can feel strange, but I take it as it is, because I'm not a pilot. I can have 100 000 hrs in some Cessna or whatever, but it doesn't give me even the slightest idea of how jet engine with such specific airframe acts. It looks to me, that people enjoy talking about sim more than actually fly it. Just get in the cockpit, learn to fly it...problem solved. It's BETA, so if ED will find some strange behavior (still, they have real pilots to discuss it with), they will update the sim. If You are easy on the stick with flaps extended and on proper speed,...no shaking in the cockpit on my side. People just tend to pull like hell, then, of course, the shaking appears. No offense, but You know this is just a PC sim, right? So enjoy it, fly it and we can get rid of making such weird statements about something, somewhere and not sure if....

    Sorry, I don't know, if this is from 1.5, but the problem is still present in 1.5 as well. Thanks Belsimtek. BTW...the enhanced sound of Mi-8 is kickass!

    Edit: Now, when I read it looks like, I said "Thanks Belsimtek" as irony....but I mean it. :-) Really...thanks for great module. :-D

    Hi guys. I wanted to express my highest respect to ED team, because I tried my Albatros just a few minutes ago and the module is freaking awesome!!! From modelling to sounds absolutely perfect!!! I´m also happy about three Czech skins including that cool modern camouflage. It looks, sounds and flies great. Combined with stunning new engine it´s flawless. Great job!

    Sorry guys, maybe I've missed it, but is there an option to turn the tree shadows off or I have to dig into some config file? Thank You. I have Intel i5, 8GB RAM, GTX 660 2GB and running it on SSD and the framerates are too unstable. It's playable, but I don't want to imagine it in some campaign scenarios with a lot of aircraft, explosions etc. Thank You.

    Please, don't take this as a report of some serious issue or bug. It's more like a question towards the developers.

    In mission editor, there is selectable Czech Republic. But there is Su-25 missing and I'm not sure, if they forgot or there is something, I don't know about. :-)

    Hi. I didn't test it much yet, but yes...I already had an opportunity to eject :thumbup: and from above and sides, the parachute is ok, but from the bottom You can see through. Just like there is nothing there. And I had Su-25T, I forgot to mention this. It is not really dramatic problem, but just adding to the bugs list. Thanks.

    I must agree. Sorry for my expressions, but the remaster of the Black Sea map, new textures, lights, grass.....it is so ****ING AMAZING!!! You've done a great job. My comp is a little bit exhausted, so I will have to tune the details, but damn....this looks thousand times better than the original. I didn't even expect it to be THAT beautiful.
