I recently updated my DCS world openbeta and downloaded the newly purchased mods. Then the game won't open. I double clicked the icon, and DCS showed up in the task manager. But I just don't see the game start. I tried update and repair. But they didn't work. Please help! Thanks in advance!

I also have a strange problem with my AGM-65F slew. I slew the TDC control with the little stick axis on my T16000 left-hand throttle. The TDC won't go straightly up/down or right/left. It's tilted. For example, when I try to slew left, it goes down left instead of straightly left. The radar doesn't have this issue.

That's what I used before. Not enough axis or 4-way buttons. So better equipment is recommended

Last year I had my introductory flight. My feeling was very similar to yours. I felt very strange using a left-handed stick and flying without a HUD. I kept watching the ADI and the instructor kept asking me not to. Banking more than 30 degrees freaked me out. And I felt airsick. If I flew longer I would throw up in the cockpit. In the game we have subtitles on the radio conversation with AI. In real life we don't have that and my oral English can give me some trouble. In the game I rarely care about the altitude change in a turn. But in real life the instructor would yell at me for it.

A few issues about the internal weapon bay: 1. The missiles in the internal weapon bays are launched before the bay doors open. The animation should be fixed. 2. Since the grid fins of R-77 can't be folded, this missile is too big to fit in the internal weapon bay. In the game, R-77 is still available in the bay, but the model size is scaled down to fit. My suggestion is to delete this missile and all other oversized weapons from the menu. 3. There are unconfirmed myths/rumors about the side weapon bays on Su-57. It's not included in this mod. I think we can try it for fun, until we are finally pretty sure that they don't exist.

Su-57 installation problem Hi folks, I recently downloaded the Su-57 module from the user files: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2539621/?sphrase_id=13855650 As instructed, I put the unzipped folder in the mods/aircraft/ folder. In the game, I can see the module in the mod manager, and the plane in the encyclopedia. But in the mission editor, I can't find and add this plane to the mission. Does anybody know how to solve it? Somebody said it can be due to a too old lua file that won't fit the new version of the game.

The most difficult AI jets to dogfight against are MiG-15 and F-16 (<50% internal fuel)

Skid on carrier deck When I try to taxi on the deck of aircraft carrier, I always struggle with skidding. The jet occasionally moves itself with idle engine. When I try to turn with either NWS or NWS HI, the jet sometimes still goes straight and won't turn, and I fall into the sea.:no_sad: I tried anti-skid both on and off. Neither helped. I also tried left brake or right brake. No joy either. The game is updated. Can anyone advice?

The only 3rd-generation fighter made by ED itself with clickable cockpit is F/A-18C now. Is it possible that we leave Su-27SK in FC series, while making J-11A clickable and sold separately?

If you see a flyable and realistic Chinese aircraft in this game, it must be either imported from other countries, or exported to other countries, or retired. J-5, J-6 and J-7 are the first (imported or copied from USSR), JF-17 is the second (exported to/co-produced with Pakistan), Q-5 and J-8 series are the third (no seen here yet, but way more possible than J-11B and J-15).

Try cancelling your own takeoff by calling the tower. Sometimes when I taxi, the lead won't takeoff until I do so, because the system thinks I should takeoff first.

After some practice, now I can beat almost any excellent AI (including 50% fuel M-2000C, F-15C, MiG-29S, Su-27, F-5E, F-4E, F-86F, MiG-23, MiG-21bis). Exceptions are MiG-15 (you know it's dogfight monster), AJS-37 (I shot it down once. But it's hard because it was always running away rapidly) and F-16C (I can stay on its 6, but spend a very long time to get in the range. I must give it 80% fuel rather than 50%. Otherwise its fuel gets depleted before I shoot it down.)
