  2. Edit: that's my fault! I was used to turn on the AC generators just after the batteries, and so the external pump lights where never lit on the upper board ! Now everything's perfect, I must add that when the internal tanks (aft and back) are empty, all the fuel from the externals are transfered in to the internal tanks. The pilots continues to know how much fuel remains. - start with 3% and 2 tanks - when fuel is 0% the two tanks are drained to refuel the internal (aft and back tanks) - fuel gauge increases from 0 ton to 1 ton of fuel remaining ! That's just great, thanks everyone !

  5. Honestly, I can't remember where I got these maps, I have them since a very long time on my computer. This is why I didn't tell who is the source.

But in my point of view, I'll wait at least for the compatibility patch with BS and will wait to know what's next module to decide wether I continue with the dcs series. If this hasn't been suggested yet, i would like the editor to have these new features: - Third coalition (so we can have units be ennemi from the two others, and/or units friendly to all) - Duplicate flight plans : this already exists in a mod (can't remember where I found this in the forum) at the moment it simply consist of editing some LUA scripts, why did the devs never thought about it...? - Possibility to have a "sattelite" view in the editor, like a Jpg picture of the game where we can place units on. - Possibilty to save all the settings of the MFDs (or Abris and PVI800) in a windows notepad file so we can load/save the settings, flight plan ect. I always though in BS I could make my flight plan directly from the cockpit at the beginning of the mission, and reload this flight plan if sometimes later I replay the mission. A library of all my flight plans would be saved on my harddrive with all my cockpit settings for instruments. I think in F-16 it's called "data cartridge". This would make also possible to prepare my own flight plan outside of the game and then jump in the cockpit and load the file. So each player chooses his path to target. - Debriefing with statistics of the mission when we leave the multiplayer room or when the mission ends. I hope all of this is understandable... And all these features also for DCS: Blackshark !
  10. This video is just great, but it's hard to find where are the "after effects" and the effects added due to DirectX 9 and evolution of the game engine... Will wait for another video that shows exactly the game as it is for real, or close to what it will be.
  11. This summer I played in a local network (LAN) and 3 of the 5 computers had this error in during a mission. This is definely NOT directly due to the network, but bad network code in the game

  13. Because there are no "runtime error" and no "ping server timeout" on windows 98 :music_whistling: they still play the Flanker 2.0
  14. No, because the compatibility patch implies that you already have bought FC2 and BS, so ED had the money in their pocket already...

It seems there was some "blue lens" effect on the sun, and the clouds were very "something" different than all I've seen in BS... thanks for the adjustment, and shame on me :thumbup: The screenshot term was to say the sequences are too fast, that's it! Waow 7hrs for this, nice work ! I would have spend a life time to not do better than you:clap_2:
  17. I played the video in slow motion (0.50x) and it's still too fast to really appreciate what I saw. This movie could be made with screenshots and you would have saved some work time Glowing, but here it's just waste of your talent. Also, changing the colors of the sky and using different special effects shouldn't be part of a "promo" video as it doesn't reflect the content of the game? Thanks for the work and sharing this "tiny" video, but now it's time to make a real big one :thumbup:
  18. Honestly, I don't like the grass, it looks ugly in the game as it is not rendered on large scale. Ok, ok I know it's not possible to render it far, but in Arma2 it doesn't look so ugly. Will wait for the release to make my final decision, but I hope we can turn grass = OFF.
  19. Hope DC:A10, DCS:BS and FC2 will be all multiplayer compatible so people continues to fly all toghether. That the most important thing, I think. Even if A-10 will be the high-end simulator, the game will become boring because you'll just have to kill (stupid AI) ground targets, like was BS before the compatibility patch.

  21. Ok, so best solution is to put ennemy units on the parking or close to the farp, so if someone wants to spawn here it will be fireworks !
  22. I need to make tests again because I didn't managed to disable a client's aircraft after a player jumped in the cockpit... Grimes could you please share a test mission, so we can easily understand how to set it up ?
