  1. Press the Test button on the Configuration window , a number of missing aliases will show at the bottom, Hit the Windows key + V to get the clipboard and you'll see a list of the Aliases that are missing
  2. Yes you can BoFrost, I've been doing it for months and I've just done it right now, If you run VA / Viacom before starting DCS then you have to ask airio for Options to get the ' wheel ' If you run DCS , START SRS , get into the pit , I use the menu for Grnd pwr & Air Supply, Once I've done that I then run VA and use voice to arm ejection seat / crank engines, pwr off, disconnect air supply, once in the air I use voice for A to A, A to G etc, if for some reason my voice isnt recognized or VA has decided to shut itself down I then use my hotas button to bring up the wheel and TrackIR Head movement. It may not work for you but it works for me
  3. I've noticed the same, It recognizes salute with a beep with a confidence score of 97 but I now have to use the fmenu / ground crew I also now cannot tune to the carrier freq by voice I either have to use options. Run VA once your in the pit, then you are able to use the jester wheel as well as VA
  4. I was flying a joint mission last night with our sister Hornet Sqdn, the f10 map had waypoints 1 to 13, each of these was labelled of course, the Tomcat element were given WP's 8, 9, & 13 , these were Tgt WP's, when using jester to input the co-ords only the even numbers were shown on the wheel, the work around was to input the Lat / Long and designate as Surface Tgt & Fixed Point for WP's 9 & 13. Either I was being a complete cock, or is there a valid reason for this being the way it is. Answers on a postcard please

  6. Yes mate, I've had this all working absolutely perfect since it was released, but the last cpl of months has been a pita. My Sqdn use 127.500 for the Teddy, more often than not it's set to a default freq 225 or something, I used to be able to say ' Radio Tune 127 decimal 5 00 and Rio would ok it, for quite awhile now I've had to use options, and or if you don't run VA until your pit is ready to taxi you can then have the jester wheel and VA /Viacom. But I will give MS another go, Thanks for the reply
  7. AIRIO ack's all spoken commands but I just cannot use him to change freq on the 182, for some strange reason VA / Viacom does not recognize any numbers, infuriating as I then have to use options to change freq, as far as I can tell you can't ask the Rio to change the preset either but you can by using options, which again spoils it for me, I want to get away from the wheel / options
  8. Maybe it's because you are using Viacom Pro for the F14, and Voice attack with the F18 ??
  9. Hi Buddy, I have my WH throttles set exactly the same as your pic, however I can only get to stage 3.5 at full burn, There are 5 stages of burn in the F14, but I can't seem to get past the 3.5
  10. You can get the Menu up by calling Options, then you call Take 1, Take 5 for Nav for eg. Navgrid is usable with AIRIO, the kneeboard pages are in the Viacom Manual. Personally I'd like to be able to call the Lat n Long to Rio ie as per Rio Radio Tune 127 decimal 5 etc
  11. Has anyone managed to get the AIRIO to actually lock a tgt/s whilst in TWS Mode, it would appear that the only time I can get a lock is by using PAL. Most of the time he says unable, BVR with the PHOENIX is not doable
  12. I was just trying anything to try and get a lock,
  13. Since the last patch, TWS & STT are not working, Jester gives an unable, the only way at present to get a lock is by using PAL with the 9's and 7's. I tried using the Phoenix's with ACM at 75 miles and 50 miles, waste of missiles Can we get it sorted asap please
  14. Very interested, will have a look at the server and hopefully get to chat on TS.
  15. Go into SOUNDS Icon and make your headset the default for playback and recording
  16. I have the same issue, I use the Surrounded Mission (A10C) for testing and the only response I get from my wingman is when I ask him to go TRAIL, which he Affirms, after that he doesn't respond to any other commands, also that one time I ask him to Go Trail, I hear my voice also, thereafter I hear nothing. Having done the speech testing I'm averaging 96% on my pronounciation. I'm getting confirmatory beeps when transmitting. I really can't think of anything else to do. I think we are pretty much in the same boat
  17. No response from Wingman This screen shot shows it alot better
  18. No response from Wingman Hi Guys. I hope the following makes sense to someone, I'm using VA with Viacom Pro, I fly the A10C mainly, I'm using the Surrounded mission to practice voice comms with my wingman. The VA speech box is working fine, beeps, static etc the problem arises when I try to issue a command to my wingman. The config box reads as TX1-VHF AM TX2-UHF TX3-VHF FM However as soon as I start the mission the PTT tab shows TX2-UHF change to CB UHF, this also shows in the comms menu top right of screen. I ask my wingman to go trail, I hear my own voice and wingman responds and starts to make his turn, and thats as much as I can get, any further commands ie Engage Armor, Air Defences etc etc, nothing, zilch, nada. I get the confirmatory beeps and the commands register in the VA box. I've tried, reinstall, the 2 min fix, everything I can think of but no joy, has anyone else had this particular problem ?
  19. Nice one VC, I've litrally just gone up to 8000 and tried to come down on them but their 120's were still in the air before I could get them scanned, once there's a 120 in the air you have to go defensive, practice practice I shall give your tactics a try :) happy hunting
  20. I'm having the same issues with those twatting 16s, takes forever to get a lock by which time you already have an Aim 120 towards you, I was sat literally half a mile behind a 16, and no matter what I used , bore, longitudinal, HMS , i just could not get a lock. frustrating as you like
  21. Cancel the above, worked through it and managed to get it sorted, don't ask me how just trial and error, persevation and a shit load of swearing and muttering. got there in the end, now just need to brush up on my vocabulary skills. fkn yeeeee haaaaaa
  22. Can anyone help me with the following. Whilst editing the PTT A10C Profile / assigning the correct buttons to the radios on my warthog throttle, I'm ticking the correct boxes and have the correct radios assigned however voice is disabled and so are the shortcuts . Transmit VHF 2 Released ( voice disabled ) { Num3 } ( shortcut disabled ) joystick2 Button6 etc etc I'm getting no beeps only a deep thud type sound , if I wasn't bald I'd have pulled all my hair out by now. hellllllp.
