Not sure it's worth adding at the moment (not sure how many skins you're looking to put in the pack?), but here is a good Aggressors skin pack for the F-5: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2314656/ Currently it's probably not worth adding but once the Hornet and Tomcat are out, it would become relevant IRT an organized MP TOPGUN scenario/event (primarily the VFC-13 Black Saints skin that's in the pack, as they fly as Adversaries in BFM Training at NAS Fallon). edit: per Hoggit, this is already included in game. My mistake!

Here is a greatly improved default skin for the Harrier: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3350830&postcount=1 Another great Harrier skin: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3348552&postcount=19 And another: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3358445&postcount=22 I am assuming you have the 104th Harrier skin too, correct? I think I sent that one previously but can't remember 100%. Thanks for the initiative to get this put together, this should be a massive help for MP servers to ensure everyone has the skins that people are loading on to themselves. S!

GAMETRIX KW-908 JETSEAT Don't forget the fact that it looks badass too :smilewink: Here is what I believe to be true, Andre can confirm: Better material on the cover Adds 2 transducers (up to 8 from the original 6...but the 908 had 8) Easier access to transducers Looks badass

You're welcome, and the Sim Edition is this custom service: https://andres.shop/jetseat/31-jetseat-901-flight-sim-customization-1.html

Following up to this with a copy/paste from my cockpit thread here because I'd like some feedback if anyone has any before I invest any time in building this. I really like the trackpad (one finger press/click = left click, two fingers press/click = right click, two fingers can scroll i.e. turn knobs, and it has a click when you press down so you can feel it)...but it felt awkward having it strapped to my leg. It's hard to explain but it felt weird and cramped trying to use it in practice. Instead I've just been sitting it flat on the desk next to my keyboard and it feels a lot better and easier to use that way. So, I had an idea this morning (excuse the elementary level sketch) of how I would take that and improve upon it...a desk mounted stand for my keyboard and 2 trackpads, inspired by the VKB desk mount teaser: My crappy design sketch: Allows for the "feel" of using MFD's with needing to reach my left/right hand forward to interact, except I can use my HMD to point me in the general direction with the cursor and then use my finger on the trackpad to refine where the cursor is before clicking...and I don't need to worry about blinding being able to find the right OSB button in the heat of combat the way I would with a Thrustmaster MFD setup (I feel like this would be a nightmare for me with physical MFDs, or I would constantly be peeking out the bottom of the HMD) I will be able to also use these to operate the UFC, with either my right or left hand very easily while in flight. I also won't need to take my hand off the stick if I find myself in a turn trying to punch something in to the UFC or trying to click Master Arm, Change A/G weapon, etc Also allows me the ability to realistically interact with anything on the front dash (A/G, NAV, V/STOL Mode buttons...Master Arm, Flaps On/Off, RWR Volume, Bingo Fuel Bug, etc) Can also operate in a pinch any of the side console buttons, if necessary, in flight...most of the side console stuff I need in flight in already bound to my Throttle I will use my traditional mouse for anything on the ground (i.e. start up) as it's a bit quicker for me to churn through the process that way albeit not at realistic/natural in feeling I will keep the kneeboard strap (1) because I threw all the packaging away so I can't return it lol and (2) because I may start using it to hold my iPad for my kneeboard. I hate the ingame kneeboard implementation where it just pops up on your screen (and not on your pilots leg), so I might just do this instead and peak below my HMD to see. I am going to head to my parents house to have my dad build it for me this weekend (I am not handy, at all)...any suggestions for improvement before I get started?

Next idea :pilotfly: I tried and hated the VR controllers in cockpit so much that I actually ended up going a different route to enable left handed cockpit functionality when necessary (or convenient). I had been wanting to get a left side mouse for a while, but kept holding out to see what type of hand tracking might come about...looks like that is a while off, so last week I picked up: This trackpad: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA9JN5CT4055 This kneeboard to hold the trackpad: http://www.mypilotstore.com/MyPilotStore/sep/10270 I really like the trackpad (one finger press/click = left click, two fingers press/click = right click, two fingers can scroll i.e. turn knobs, and it has a click when you press down so you can feel it)...but it felt awkward having it strapped to my leg. Definitely different material on the seat cover...Andre's Sim Edition is made from a nice, "military style fabric" (per the website) versus the stock seat which I believe is a pleather type of material. The SE material seems durable. In any case, the SE edition from Andre looks and I imagine feels worlds better. Outside of the other benefits you mentioned, my understanding is that Andre also adds additional padding/cushioning inside of the seat cover so it's much more comfortable to sit on. With the basic "seat mat" I can only imagine you can feel the little vibration motors uncomfortably digging in to you while sitting on them. Lastly, regarding the differences in the new ForceFeel seat, sokol made a post with the most relevant details I've seen so far: Thread for further questions and discussion: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=203529

You're correct, it would be impossible to get the center post any lower than it is without cutting and welding it back together -- truth be told, I've been considering doing that once my VKB with 20cm extension gets here (would take it to a local fabricator). I wouldn't say it's out of the realm of possibility at all :) With the WH and 15cm extension, the stick sits just about perfectly for me currently...about 2/3 of the stick should be above the top of your thighs, seated; at least that is what a Hornet pilot told me? I will have to wait and see how the stick sits once my VKB is installed before I take any drastic measures. Overall I am very happy with the WSP, wouldn't trade it for desk mounts any day of the week...the WSP offers significant more adjustability. Regarding the seat swivel, I have no issues with that when using the pedals...and the Slaw's generally take a good push to move them. I do have "wheel chocks" aka door stoppers that I put behind 2 of my chair wheels to keep from sliding back when using rudder. Overall I really like the chair, even more so with the JetSeat SE on it  Good luck building the pit, if you have any questions come up...let me know.

Anti-skid switch on left console near flaps. And the key bind to engage the NWS (or NWS-Hi if Anti Skid is off) is called "Air-to-Ground Target Undesignate / Nosewheel Steering Button", under the HOTAS drop down category IIRC (at work and going off memory).

Always a wealth of knowledge, thanks sokol!

104th Phoenix - Operation Longbow - Dynamic PvP Mission
Buckeye replied to 104th_Maverick's topic in Multiplayer
Even the Blue SRS comms during North American peak times has been pretty scarce as of late, to be honest. Adoption of SRS definitely seems to have declined lately on the server, not sure why. It's really disappointing, I am hoping more and more guys will get motivated to get SRS set up and use it as it's intended  -
Real Simulator making a high-end F16C grip
Buckeye replied to Ranma13's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Good lord, that is so much over kill. Way over done IMO. Kind of ruins the luster of what I had expected to be a high fidelity, high quality sim grip. -
Ah, copy that, my mistake. Curious to see what else is different between the ForceFeel and 908 then once they release more details. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Introducing the VKB-Sim ‘Modern Combat Grip’ (MCG)

Interested to know this as well. The first thing I did with the CV1 was take the headphones off so I could use my regular ones...for me, any HMD I size up to in the future will require this ability.

Just received my JetSeat SE from Andre last weekend, which also has 8 motors (+2 compared to the now discontinued 908 model). Curious to see if this new model differs any further outside of adding 2 motors and changing the aesthetics a bit. I'm not really sure what new additional features could be added to improve upon the old model? In any case, I honestly would never recommend to anyone to buy the old model seat cover standalone. Having Andre add the padding and the cover for the Sim Edition (SE) is critical IMO, as it makes the pad much more comfortable to sit on.

Indeed it does. I've been hovering between 50-52 and really loving it since 2.5 was released :pilotfly:

Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
Buckeye replied to UIV's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
I sincerely hope the TECS will be offered, as an option, with no labels. Given how variable the cockpit layouts are in the DCS jets and the # of modular add-ons that are anticipated (thus an increasing number of buttons and customization of putting different pieces in different places for different uses), it seems kind of silly to handcuff certain buttons to certain functions via a label. -
VoiceAttack is great but doesn't do much for immersion, fellas. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Dead serious, when I woke up today I looked at my phone and thought "Holy shit! It's March already..." My next thought was "Oh that's right, Heatblur said March was when we would start to see some more Tomcat stuff..." These brief thoughts were immediately followed by one of "I wonder how long it will take some nutjob to post on the forums reminding HB of this claim?" Good to see the DCS community never disappoints
