So I have an issue where in multiplayer, I will have freezes that will last long enough to kick me out of an aircraft and back into the role select screen. They can last anywhere from a minute to 5 minutes. While troubleshooting, I noticed that this was happening in a server that had a higher ping (>180) and is more or less okay otherwise. I would like to know what could possibly be the cause of this short of ping and what I can do to mitigate that. I also attached logs if you can find something there. dcs.log

So I heard that with this update, the IFF on the aircraft has been implemented, but I am still confused. I tried to interrogate a target and nothing was shown on the radar to indicate friend or foe. Not only that but even if it was working, I have no idea what it looks like when I do identify. Do I need to do extra steps such as turning on a transponder? TL;DR I'm lost with this.

Last night I purchased the Nevada Test range and installed the open alpha of DCS 2.0. It was downloading but the update was halted by a shutdown of the PC. Now I can't get the game to download and DCS 2.0 acts like I haven't purchased it despite the contrary. How do I fix this?

The title really says it all. Whenever I exit a session, the mission freezes at the in-game menu and the music starts. I do not believe it happens on every mission, but it seems prevalent in Instant Action. Just FYI, my computer is very powerful. GTX970, i5-4690k, 16GB DDR3 RAM. All drivers should be updated but I have to double check.

Yeah and so is the F-86, the Mi-8 and the Huey. It's funny that you said what if the said content was released later. For the same price, I could get the Mig-21 which has training missions, more missions, a campaign and more instant action missions. Even then, I still gave it a 9/10 when it first came out. I personally don't have a problem with people not liking my review. After all, it is their opinion and I respect that, especially if the criticism is constructive. Yes reviews can affect a product and the company that made it. So with that said, maybe they should have put more content into their product. Still if an 8 out of 10 is low enough to deter the simulator community from buying a product, then that says more about them than it does about me.

Then it should have a beta price.

So? You're still expected to fork out as much money as a AAA game. Do you think it's justified to pay that much for a beta?
