  1. What settings do I need to fiddle with? I want to keep them on the boat until they are ready to go. Is my only option to activate them when the time comes?
  2. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me learn how to get navy vessels to hit ground targets?
  3. In the editor I have an f-15 flight. One is the player, the other is a client. When anyone joins the client f15c, his name takes over the plane but his controls dont take over. he is stuck in external camera views and cant control the craft. What did i do wrong?
  4. Just started playing and Im having problems with the first mission. Im flying right next to the ship but I cant talk to it.
  5. I loved those instant action missions, especially the ones vs, helis. All that's left is the Air intercept! Could someone point me to where they are at now?
  6. I dont know much about flying the actual Helos, just telling them what to do on the editor. If your helo is AI, you have to set it's task as "embarking" as well. I think you must also tell it which people to allow pickup.
  7. I have been playing around with the editor for about a week and a half as I await my X55 stick to come back from warranty repairs. I have been asking alot of questions and been getting alot of help and I just want to share a .miz Mission so that others can see what I've learned so far. In this mission you will find: The player (in an F-15 Currently) spawns in an empty airfield way out in the middle of nowhere. All of the combat and action is handled by the AI on a coastal airport. (use f2 to cycle focus) A helo pad is located near BLUE airbase. A helo takes off and immediately lands picking up infantry. Helo takes off and lands in a separate place dropping off infantry. Infantry goto a location and hold position. 2 F-15C's Start on the runway and Take off. They are assigned an escort mission with the A-10 flight as it's target. 3 A-10s start parked, taxi and take off, and head north toward RED Airbase with a kill mission against a group of SAMs. On the way to RED airbase the A-10 specifically activate a trigger that spawns MIGS to take off from RED airbase tasked with a fighter sweep. F-15s engage Migs. If successful, A-10s will fire ATG missiles and wipe out the SAM group, which triggers a spawn of 4 Apaches. Apaches begin their assault on RED airbase and wipe out the BMP's guarding it. Here are some Issues I'm still having with my Mission: How do I start a mission with Helos that start landed, stay landed while picking up infantry, and stay there until a trigger is activated? 4 Helos start in the air and land, with an embark order. For some reason they take off before everyone is loaded regardless of the stop conditions and what flag is activated. If an A-10 is targeted by a Missle the A-10 will DUMP all ordnance preventing them from completing their mission. Other then making them completely ignore defensive maneuvers how can I prevent them from not dumping mission critical ordnance? Any help resolving these issues are super appreciated.   8. I figured out how to get infantry to embark on transports but I am having trouble figuring out how to get them to disembark. So far all Ive done is tell the infantry group to disembark at a waypoint and then I have the Helo fly to that point but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?
  9. Sorry, Let me Clarify. If the player is parked in a parking spot any and all other AI vehicles parked in the same airport will refuse to budge until the player has started to move and is no longer considered parked. Now this is the first time I've heard about Helipads. Do all airports have them or is it just a few? Do I have to build them?
  10. Ok, I discovered that NOTHING will leave their parking spots if a Player is parked there. Good to know!
