  1. UHF ARC-159 Function Inc and UHF ARC-159 Function Dec key bindings don't work properly. "Inc" only toggles between OFF and BOTH and is not working at all if MAIN or ADF are selected (by mouse for example). "Dec" only toggles between MAIN and ADF, but is not working if OFF or BOTH are selected. Edit: game is running on MT.
  2. Mirage is my favorite as well and for the same reasons! Yes sure its still being worked on but i really appreciate an opportunity to get to know a plane other than Fs or MiGs with its own unique features!
  3. Hi Decoy, is adding more control bindings (such as radio channels for example or more axis bindings) going to be a part of MLU? Keep up the good work!
  4. Hi All, I just tried the Tomcat briefly and noticed a couple of things which kind of surprised me. Not saying anything is wrong or whatever, just very very rough first glance observations. Here they are: - Seems like the F14 is a turn n burn monster. Easily beats the AI su27 in the guns only instant action fight. Mirage seems to lose E like a pig compared to F14 in a tight turn. - A breeze to land on the deck. 2 half-assed attempts to land, both successful. Caught 1 wire but hell, I was profusely sweating to land the F18 for the first time... Even with the crap resolution of the HUD, the F14 lands itself. And how about that clear view from the pilot seat down the nose... wow! For someone used to fly warbirds onto carriers in the digital realm, the F14 feels like there is no cockpit at all when it comes to unobstructed view down the glide slope! Also, super easy to get back power... engine response immediate! - Flaps down feel better than nozzle angle of 70deg in the Harrier. Just kept going up and up and up, like a baloon! Yay! - The F14 has no trouble taking off under its own power only! A couple of thousand gallons of fuel aboard only and no weapons, F14 takes off from stennis' forward catapult without so much as a twitch! (edit: without using the catapult, just to be clear) Anyways, that's the "observations". i don't have any data to back anything up nor am I looking for anything to prove, but I just feel that the FM is a bit too much... lifty? Engines a bit too ... springy? The huge plane not enough... pigly? I would characterize the overall ability of the F14B in all the aspects I tried as: Super easy, barely an inconvenience! Or maybe its just my brand new stick and throttle?! :megalol: Cheers!
  5. And I dont mind that but in that case stable should not have any of the modules that are still being developed and do not have their full features. And nothing prevents ED to clearly specify that the module release is in open beta only on such and such day. And if i payed for early access then why do all the youtube experts have access before me? Did they pay for early early access?
  6. Ah ok, so F-14 hasn't been released yet! I thought they said it will be released on the 13th of March, but it's just open beta. Why do we have the stable version again?
  7. Ok, so this is again a BETA only release?
  8. This plane in DCS is equivalent to going to McDowell's to buy a veggie burger. That being said, I bought it simply because I can afford it and I want to support one of the best 3rd party teams in this game. I hope you guys will continue doing the grill now that you have this out of your system. Best wishes!
  9. Compared to all the Mirage 2000 sims out there, I would say RAZBAM's is the most finished one. :)
  10. I know a couple of real MiG21 pilots for whom this module would be quite acceptable as a training sim. On the other hand, I know quite a lot of real armchair pilots for whom this module is not an adequate sim of the real MiG21. I let you decide who of these two is a better reference. :pilotfly:
  11. Hello all, PROPOSED FEATURE: Advanced button customization options in the game interface like what we have for axis assignments. For example: we should be able to define in-game if a joystick button assigned to a command needs to be held pressed, or if it latches to active position when pressed once (toggle) or if it can be assigned another other boolean mechanical action REASON: The variety and fidelity of modules in DCS has arrived to such a point where the button assignments for sim commands are becoming increasingly difficult to reconcile between said different modules. A speedbrake works in a different way between F/A18C and the M2000C for example. Yet if you have a given throttle, you would tend to use the same button or switch for the same action (deploy/retract speedbrake). For example, I am using a Thrustmaster TQS + mmjoy2 and in order to use the F16s speedbrake switch effectively in both modules, I would have to re-program the button action in MMJoy every time when switching between these two modules. BENEFITS: The number of command assignments would be much lower since many commands in several modules are doubled or tripled in order to provide this flexibility for command assignments to different types of physical buttons on user's devices. ED could standardize command assignments much easier across different modules, because there wouldn't be an issue of the specific mechanical action associated to a certain command in a certain module. For example: activating ECM is a toggle in one module, but a switch (hold until released) in another. The command provokes the same action conceptually, but is implemented differently. Please see below a short video of possible boolean mechanical actions of a button:
  12. I just did the VRMark benchmark test... average frame rate 235 fps score 10793, better than 93% tests online
  13. @Cibit and dburne, thanks for your replies guys. I will try to follow your suggestions and then I'll report back here. One interesting thing is that my FPS is the same in the main menu as in the game. I wonder if anyone can tell me should this be the case? I would expect that the FPS drop much further in the game than in the menu, yet it is not the case. dburne, I dont use any other software than nvidia drivers and gtemp. My card is the EVGA Hybrid with a closed-loop water cooling system. This thing just keeps the GPU below 35degC all the time so I didnt bother to install any management software.
  14. You can imagine how it feels. Spent 1500$ to get ready for VR and I get this abysmal performance. I am working up the courage to reinstall my system from scratch, or at least make a new install somewhere just to test DCS + OR. The demos and free stuff from OR library work just fine... no stutter no bad FPS no tracking issues. In OR everything is green. I have the latest NVIDIA drivers, however not sure about MB drivers; I'll have to check that. All USBs are connected to 3.0. But DCS is just awful. As soon as I turn my head the picture starts to seems as double, and on top of everything, the ingame FPS counter shows the same performance in the main menu as in the game. This feels like some problem with drivers somewhere, or could it be a problem with bios settings?
