  1. Vf84 helmet art I think. On my phone and not sure how to post a picture from it though.
  2. Add me to the draw please. Thanks
  3. Scotch tape over the LEDs works really well for a cheap diffusing solution.
  4. In the Abrams tank with combined arms the game will crash when you try to switch binos to IR view. Tried 3 times and crashed every time in a little mission that just has some tanks shooting at fuel trucks (also attached in case there is a problem in that and since I can't make a track from it for some reason). Not sure how to get a track of the mission, sorry. DxDiag.txt Logs.rar CA1.miz
  5. Getting the same problem after it had worked earlier.
  6. I recently had some problems with FTNOIR in DCS so I switched to opentrack and couldn't be happier. I recommend opentrack all the way after having used FTnoIR for a couple of years. Also using a 3 point clip in both programs. Opentrack seems to be much smoother and I get less freakouts when I turn my head too far or something. Once in a while everything becomes inverted and that seems to happen more in FTnoIR than opentrack.
  7. Just started having issues with ftnoir as well after using it for a long time. Switched to opentrack and am much happier with it.
  8. I just want to say thank you to all of the DOW people who kept this server going for as long as has been. I have enjoyed many hours flying here with you guys and while I haven't been able to fly recently I will still sorely miss this server. Once again, thank you all for an outstanding server and superb mission design. Cliffy.
  9. Maybe everyone could just pretend that they started with the February newsletter at the end of January and just named it wrong. Currently we are waiting on the March newsletter which is set to come out a day early.
  10. I have used the WW2 ground unit mods and the sound mods on this server with JSGME plenty of times. The culprit is probably the small patch that happened earlier today making either you or the server out of date.
  11. Having just made this exact switch, I can confirm. Fighterstick for roll and pitch, pro pedals for yaw, throttle from the old HOTAS for throttle and all of the buttons that I need. The fighterstick has so many buttons though that the stick buttons are going un-used and it just sits on my desk to pass along throttle input the computer.
  12. Since we are supposed to have Normandy, a major player in the US army there was the hellcat. Pretty much any of the guns that the German planes are sporting should have an effect on those.
  13. Saw in another thread that this might be related to the oil pressure of the P51 always being too high. Seems like a new bug since 1.2.12 released and I was noticing this yesterday as well. Oil dilute might bring the pressure down enough to make the engine start a little faster but even when the oil is warmed up the pressure is still out of the green region. I noticed this same thing in single player modes as well as on other MP servers so its probably not DoW specific.
  14. I think I have the answer to the wing tips breaking off in flight so easily. It appears that they are all pre-stressed from takeoff attempts.
  15. David posted elsewhere that the server is running the 1.2.12 beta now I think, that could be the problem if you aren't running the same version.
  16. Feel free to use this as an in game livery if you wish, perfection like this is hard to beat.
  17. Big congrats. Just a word of warning, he will be pushing buttons and yanking on your joystick in no time.
  18. You use the gun trigger to fire the Gar-8s, not the weapon release button.
  19. As far as I know all of them use full real settings. It does get easier with practice to keep track of targets and using flak to find targets can help. If all else fails just look around until your framerate plummets, there is bound to be a P-51 shooting in that direction. Hopefully Edge will help with the spotting issues as I think most Warbird pilots prefer to keep labels out of the way.
