  1. Hi FlightControl, I find your Moose framework very interesting and I want to give it a try. I wanted to mention that I installed Moose and after launching one of your test missions DCSW crashed. I extracted the contents of the file moose.zip inside the Scripts folder of my DCSw installation, right? I found that the mission crashed because the moose.zip file contains a folder called "MOOSE-master". After changing the name of the folder as "Moose" the problem was solved. Is this correct? Also, I can see in your video that you are using Eclipse with lua, right?. How can I configure eclipse to see the docs while editing the lua files as you have? Sorry, but I'm newbie and any help will be much appreciated. Thanks
  2. Fantastic news Towsim. That will be a big leap forward!!
  3. Hi, I'm trying to use VAICOM without any success at the moment. I can see in the log windows that the commands are recognized but with no effect inside the game. I think that VAICOM is sending the wrong code for the menu, that is "\", since it does not appear at any moment. The only command I could get to work was the "Start Mission". I think it is important to say that I'm using a spanish keyboard. DCS recognizes "\" when I hold the key "ç", but I don't have a direct imput for "\". Any help could be appreciated. Thank's in advance.
  4. Thanks Aviodev, very good manual. Are you planning an spanish version? By the way, in page 26, Fig 3-9, the Low pressure turbine number 5 appears twice. I think the second one must be removed.
  5. Fantastic, thanks. It will be nice to draw with a pencil, or just an option for making this laser a bit persistent.
  6. Hi, look into the file SnapViews.lua, in your "<Users>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\View" folder. For each aircraft there are sections numbered from [1] to [13]. Modify viewAngle in section number [13], the last one. Values from 100 to 120 should work.
  7. Hi Ranger, we are going to give a try to your mission and I've just one question regarding your object pack. In the first post you link to the 1.3 version but it seems there is a new one, the 1.4. So, is the 1.3 version the correct one? if so, can we use the 1.4? Thanks for your good work !!
  8. A new and proud owner. Congratulations guys, fantastic job. Keep doing it. Orgulloso del primer módulo español !!
  9. I've this problem, I sent an e-mail and nobody answered. Result: less activation/deactivation availables. When I reach the final countdown, what will be the next step?
  10. Excellent work, as always. Thank's for your tremendous work. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2015.
  11. I got the same problem and I solved it executing TS with Administrator rights. Don't ask me why it is needed though.
  12. Problem solved. I had a conflict with other peripheral. Thanks
  13. Since the last update it seems the A10C doesn't respond to my trimming inputs. It always keeps pitch up and rolling to the right and it's impossible to trim. I use a Trustmaster Warthog and I have the trim switch properly configured. Someone else has experienced the same problem?
  14. The problem with the intercom rotary switching with each press of the mic button is that if you are talking with your wingman in FM and the tanker is for instance in VHF AM, you can't contact with the tanker because you are broadcasting in a different radio. So at the end, you and your wingman are forced to push tanker frequency if you want to talk during refulling. As snoopy says, the position of the intercom rotary should not move with each press of the mic button.
  15. Great app, thanks. Just one suggestion. It could be nice to have the option to save to disk the mission you are planing so you can modify things later without having to introduce again all the stuff. Moreover, the app crashes sometimes and it is annoying having to start again from scratch.
  16. Thank's towsim for your hard work. Another thing that we found yesterday is that when you get into the A10C's it is possible to hear people in other aircrafts transmitting in the radios even with the power in OFF. Once you put energy on the radios you stop listening until the same frequency is selected. I think this didn't happen in the previous version. One question: ¿is it possible to replace the sound file that controls the communication block out? We guess that this file is rauch.wav, but yesterday we were trying to replace this file with a less louder version but it didn't work.
  17. @AMVI_Jay: Hi, concerning the second problem a colleague of mine had the same problems when contacting IA and towers. Also, he experienced issues listening on FM and/or AM. Sometimes he could listen in VHF AM and not in FM, and other times just the opposite, randomly. But always we were able to hear him. At the end we realized that the source of the problems was Helios. Helios puts IN and/or OUT the buttons on the Intercom Panel corresponding to the different radios, and it does this at random. Since Aries now evaluates the state of these buttons it can happen that Helios's users can have some of these buttons IN and therefore the corresponding radio muted. I don't know if you use Helios but if this is the case the solution is put on the checklist a new step: look at the intercom panel buttons and be sure all of them are in OUT position. I hope that solves your issues !!
  18. Hi towsim, yesterday night and today we I've been testing the new version and we like the new features. But we encountered the same issues concerning voice degradation with the A-10C pointed out by paulrkiii. With FC3 and Mig21bis degradation was good, as in previous version. Also, communication block out seems not working at all, and when two people speak on the same channel one can hear a terrible noise on the speakers. One last thing that maybe is subjective, but It seems to me that now Aries loses synchronization more easily when there is some lag on the connection. Thanks for your work !!
  19. That's an impressive work  Thank's
  20. Excellent application AlaskanGrizzly. Managing the kneeboard info is extremely easy and fast. Thank's
  21. Thanks for your quick answers and amazing work. My squadron is right now using Aries for coms in mixed missions where we play almost every DCS module available.
  22. Excellent, thank's a lot towsim. We are on time to use the new version tomorrow night for a Korean campaign that we are flying this summer. Enjoy your vacation
  23. Hi, I've found a problem with the TAC missions. DCS crashes when I call any of the radios. Thanks
