Hi Infernus Please take no offense. This discussion is going off topic so I will stop with this post. I see your points. However, I trust in Microsofts need for money more then I trust in PR gags. Well, they do not say "anyone". They say "qualified new or existing [..] devices that upgrade in the first year!" Whatever that means. Is my device qualified? I bought a PC with Win7 Home preinstalled years ago. I have rebuilt it part by part almost completely since then. The installation is "genuine" as per Microsoft. If they want to go for devices and services, they will have to sell a lot more devices and services with a lot more profit than they do now. The phone thing failed big time already. Also "Free Upgrade" does not equal "Free Use". And "Lifetime updates and new features for no additional charge" does not mean there is no subscription fee for use. Yes, I am very skeptical to the point of being overly anal. Sorry. Time will tell.

Infernus, you seem to be able to foresee the future, as you know which dx11 features DCS 2 will be using, and you know the pricing of Win10 when it's not yet announced. You must be rich with such a gift :) Anyway, thanks for clarifying that the difference is not that important. I'm still on w7 myself. Although a source would have been nice. Some DX11 features do not work in W7 (any edition). Not relevant for DCS today, but will be in the future. Also, as far as I understand, Win10 will not be free. It will be subscription based. Pay every year, get the first year for free. Sounds more like a trap than a present to me :)

The theory is easy. Fly directly towards the TACAN station until it's 7 miles away. Now turn and put it to your 9 or 3 o'clock position. Bank slightly to always keep it there. This will make you fly in a circle with a 7 miles radius around the TACAN station. Now try and intercept the ILS signal. Use the HSI to get an idea of how the runway's heading is. In practice, this needs practice. I tried and failed :)

Die Pumpe im Pilot hat damit wahrscheinlich auch so ihre Probleme. Deshalb fällt das nur in der Simulation so negativ auf, wo der Pilot immer bequeme 1G hat und Chips futtert :)

Ich hab mir einen Delanclip gekauft. Weil ich wenig Zeit habe. ;) 30€ + Versand bei Delanengineering.com Die PS3 cam musste ich nicht aufschrauben. Nur eine "Sonnenbrille" davor setzen. Eine dunkle Folie reicht. Diese Gyros finde ich aber auch ganz interessant. Mal sehen wie sich das entwickelt. Mhm, Gyros.

Meine PS3 cam bekomme ich per opentrack auf maximal 75 FPS eingestellt. Höhere Werte kann ich zwar einstellen, sie zeigen aber keine Wirkung. Mit 75 läuft es mir gut genug, aber ich frage mich ob es einen Trick gibt für mehr Frames?

Ich kopiere auch keine DLL's. Einfach freetrack protokoll wählen und es funktioniert. Coole Idee mit dem Fahrradlicht und den Perlen!
