Sad to read that they have problems (it does not matter which sort of problem). I thought the Kiowa is starting a new flavor of helos in DCS. I like the way they made the UI and AI. I am glad that the Kiowa will work in the future and that they released it in a pretty much finished state. But it would be sad if there is nothing new from PC in the future.

I've been able to remove the 10 curve on the pedals and reduce the cyclic curves from 15 to 8. I have no idea how close it is now to the real aircraft but I feel like I'm flying it now, not fighting with it.
Nice to read, have to hop into the apache again to check... ignored it for some time because i did not like its behaviour.

I wanted to provide a track, but now it works every time so far... I dont know what, but it seems I did something wrong when it was not working.

Hello!
I am able to start the right engine with external power and air without problem, but when it comes to the left engine it spools up to 20% RPM and stops alltough I hold ignition and the throttle is over the idle detent. I have no problem whatsoever when starting the engines with the start cartridge. Only on air start.
My flow is as follows:
- Connect external power
- Both Generators to external
- Connect air to right engine
- R ENG MSTR to ON
- Start Air flow to R ENG
- On 10% I hold down Ignition and push R Throttle to idle
- Wait for R ENG to stabilize
- Stop air to right engine
- R Generator to ON
- Connect air to left engine
- L ENG MSTR to ON
- Start Air flow to L ENG
- On 10% I hold down Ignition and push L Throttle to idle - and here the engine stops on 20% RPM and thats it. It does not start up.
I did not fly the F4 for a while, is there something new I missed?

I got the answer from Raptor over at Discord!
"Drop the last digits of the easting and northing groups - It can only be 8 digits. You are trying to enter 10"
For whatever reason I thought only the last digit of the second block should be omitted, but it needs both to be not present.
So for "38 T ML 75730 63543" I would now enter "38 T ML 7573 6354" to get 8 digits after the ML.

Hello!
I want to create a new waypoint using UTM coords. In the screenshot you can see which one and what I type in.
I already tried it with and without typing the last digit. (The apache does not accept the last digit on UTM, if I am correct?)
But when I hit ENTER the line starts blinking, not accepting my coords. What I am doing wrong?
I am pushing buttons in this order: POINT - ADD - Selecting WP as TYPE - FREE TEXT is xxx - I clear the default coords - enter new coords.

Is there still a bug where the UTIL page entrys stay white or "blink" white and green?
A long time ago it was said that there is a visual bug at the UTIL pg but the INU is aligning correctly.
So the only confirmation if it is aligned is if the map is visible or not?

I hope ED is at least considering reworking the interface to George. As already stated, Polychop did a very nice job creating an intuitive interface.
But I would be more than happy if we get all George commands as bindable keys.

Why is jester missing something in this phrase? Is it possible to fill this with something like "aircraft" or "enemy" or "friendly" or so?

Sometimes user error because they thought short-click is whats needed, but perhaps also a DCS issue (perhaps performance or hardware related) where the command is interrupted momentarily.
In some other cases I saw, the WSO pit was setup incorrectly, for example in TV instead of RDR mode - also sometimes due to user error (TGT FIND on the weapon knob for example), but also due to a bug that has been fixed in the latest patch (switching the knob too fast).
Still happening to me, alltough not always. Hardware is not the reason, checked on VIRPIL software if button is flickering when hold, but it is not. Something has to get thru as jester is calling his phrases. When I trie to provide a track it does not happen

Any mouse movement seem to move the mark vertically.
Left click moves up and down, right click moves left and right.

IF (!) they resolve the problems I would be happy to see progress on the F15E again. But I would never ever spend a single cent on any razbam product again. (I bought the F15E before the disaster of course)
