  1. Vjoy+Joystick Gremlin. And optionally Hid Guardian to hide physical device like Target is capable of.
  2. Here is an exemple for an On-Off Switch : https://imgur.com/a/optuZUu It is my IL2 profile in which we only have one binding to toggle altimeter mode, if you have two in DCS, then it would be better to map two different DX button to each altimeter option to avoid desynchronization. On my IL2 profile, for the altimeter binding, when I move the switch Gremlin press and hold a Vjoy button during 500ms, that allow me to move the switch one more time without the game seeing it. This way I can resynch the physical/virtual switch easily. Here is another exemple for a 3 way switch, On-Off-On : https://imgur.com/a/96Hifh7 When the switch isn't up nor down, then it send a Vjoy button. Edit : Simply don't remap every physical input to the Vjoy. In other word, only use JG when you need to : in my On-Off-On exemple you see I only use a single Vjoy button, for the middle (Off) position. The up and down position I simply map the physical device buttons (Warthog throttle in my case). Here is another exemple with a On-Off switch : https://imgur.com/a/T7y4gwx Same logic.
  3. I think the issue is that the encoder send signal that are as short as possible (0..1ms). DCS (and many other game have this issue) doesn't have time to see them (depending on your machine speed). You could solve that with the Logitech profiler or with Vjoy+Joystick Gremlin by doing a macro, for exemple.
  4. In the Track IR software you can map DX button (Your button 3 directly for exemple). So.. There is no need to use any software to remap a Direct X button to the Track Recenter key shortcut. Voice Attack can take voice as input obviously, but also direct X button, keyboard and mouse.

  6. No it is not possible. Not via the interface at least. I think you can do that with the VKB software.
  7. When you add action on an axis, there is an 'virtual button' tab that let us define the range of the axis we want to trigger the action. https://i.imgur.com/e4v3EIG.gifv
  8. Choose 'Apply condition' to "action" and set it as you need. Action condition let you set different condition for each action. While 'Apply condition' to "container" will only let you set the same condition for all the action in the container.
  9. No, you're wrong. Remapping to keyboard shortcut isn't different than remapping to DX button.
  10. No, you do not have to do mode in VKB software AND in Gremlin. Do it only on one. It it way easier to do so in Gremlin. For exemple. VKB button 1 is your input. In Joystick Gremlin "mode 1" you can map that input to Vjoy button 1 and in "mode 2" you could map that same VKB button 1 to Vjoy button 2. And in "mode 3" to Vjoy button 3 etc etc.. Check this page, at the end is an exemple : https://whitemagic.github.io/JoystickGremlin/overview/
  11. Sorry but no, I don't understand your "conclusion".
  12. The mapping you have done in Gremlin use DX button, but in DCS you mapped DX hat. So, either you map the DX button 1 to 4 to trim into DCS, instead of DX hat, or you map your physical hat to a VJOY hat as show below :
  13. Not sure to understand your question. Something to note is that game don't all see the same number of DX button. For exemple Elite Dangerous only see a maximum of 32 DX button per controller. But DCS don't have such problem and can see all of them, up to 128. It is indeed way simpler.. And cleaner. You can press as many DX button at the same time as you need. If you were to use left-control+directional arrow to trim, then for exemple you could not trim and at the same time drop the flap or the gear or whatever.. Because of the use of modifier key..
  14. Instead of remapping to keyboard shortcut, remap to DX button. For exemple for your trim. Instead of remapping to left-control + directional arrow, remap to some Vjoy buttons, 1 to 4 for exemple. Then inside DCS you remap those Vjoy buttons to trim (in the Vjoy category), you can even remap Vjoy hat.
