  1. Hi, When I use the HAD to lock a threat then launch a HARM, when you return to NAV mode the steerpoint still stays on the last HAD lock position. You must go to FCR to reset it. Even the TGP CZ did not work for me. I cannot find my previous steerpoint without playing with the MFDs to reset it every time.
  2. Yes exactly I love watching landings and those control surface movements but they are gone for now. I hope they consider bringing it back for near cameras at least.
  3. Nozzle and control surface and nozzle movements were much fluid in the past. If this is taken away for optimization issues, I would advise that you only limit this when the user or server has resource problems. If I and the server and all others have good connection, why should we experience limitation on this? It makes videos look much worse and I really enjoy watching others from external views.
  4. Okay I think this is the proper way to do it. Thanks for clarification. But maybe the pattern location could be somewhere else where we can fly 1 minute forward and 1 minute backwards with 30 degrees bank turn at 250 knots to hold a race track. But thanks I really enjoy the campaign
  5. I read all those above, and I read all SPIN document and briefings. Still I am confused. Firstly, this traffic pattern is too tight to turn. I try to do this turn on top of the airport avoiding the city at 8000 feet. After 1-2 minutes of struggle ATC tells me to land. Alpha and Bravo are quite far away from where I hold the pattern. I do the pilot maneuvers and land the easiest way I can. What is the point of having Alpha and Bravo then? How am I supposed to do it correctly? To me this picture almost tells nothing. Is this the overhead pattern for landing or the pattern that we need to enter and hold after the arrival and contacting tower? Why does the tower ask me to hold this pattern while there is nobody landing/departing?
  6. Initially your current selected STPT is your target SPI. When you move your Maverick sensor, you move your SPI thus your STPT seems to be moving as well, because they are slaved. Like Falconeer said if you reset it by pressing TMS down twice or CZ from AG radar, the SPI will come back to its initial location (where STPT was at the first place). Other steerpoints should remain the same at all times
  7. Maybe its time to revive this topic with the incoming F-4.
  8. I am not slamming the jet onto the runway or doing very high AoA landing. I can keep the nose up for a very short time, but not down to 100 knots or anywhere close to it. I will try to make a video/track replay with the control axis displayed. I don't think the problem is my way of landing. Its just the jet will tend to put the nose down even if I am not touching the brakes yet after touchdown.
  9. In NAV mode it will be at the lower portion of the HUD. But if you choose to display DED info on the HUD it will be above. Lowering landing gear will make the heading tape float above the FPM. In AG mode it should already be on upper side.
  10. Hello, When the jet is loaded with 2 external tanks and the fuel is almost full both internal and external, aerodynamic braking after touchdown is impossible and the nose will drop down almost right after you land without touching the wheel brakes. Having some AG ordnance would make it even worse. I checked from external view that the stabs are fully trying to raise the nose up which should be the case. But the nose cannot keep ~10 degrees until slowing down to ~100 knots. Any ideas how to do it properly? Am I missing something? Can someone try and confirm the same issue? Normally that kind of payload and wheel braking for that distance would likely cause hot braking which can destroy the brakes and is not yet simulated in DCS.
  11. I noticed the same problem yesterday during in-book ramp start. Tried multiple times. Sec test fails when you snap the throttle to mil. Rpm goes down and FTIT temperature raises too much and engine fails. The only way you can pass the test is that you increase the throttle very slowly. I totally confirm the problem told by other users here e.g @Jestr.
  12. During the ramp start to check AAR functionality: 1. Open the AAR door. 2. Check RDY light from AR Status / NWS Indicator. Verify DISC light is off. 3. Press NWS button on the HOTAS. This will switch off the RDY and switch on the DISC light for 3 seconds. 4. Then RDY switch becomes ON again automatically and DISC light becomes OFF. 5. Close the AAR door and RDY light is off. The problem is, step 3 does not work. When the HOTAS button is pressed the NWS will become ON/OFF instead. And: No I don't have public evidence. Just mentioning if you want to take a look at it.
  13. Watch from 24:50 the nozzles of the first 2 jets departing to see the issue.
  14. Do you have the correct emitter code entered? For Hawk it could be 203, 204, 206 for the current default RWR library in DCS.
  15. You don't need the laser to fire mavericks in F-16. You need an image lock from WPN screen.
  16. There are three control positions for speed brake: Speed brake OPEN works like spring loaded switch. It opens up as long as you keep it depressed and returns to mid position when you release. In the middle the switch keeps its current position. When you switch to close it closes completely and does not return to middle position. By the way there is no light for speed brake. It says CLOSED in the indicator when its completely closed and shows dots if its open. Its located on lower left side of the cockpit near the countermeasures panel. Check F2 view to experiment after assigning your keys.
  17. Yes this is as it should be. Older block 30 aircraft was vibrating during FLCS test. Even that vibration was disturbing the INS alignment.
  18. Hello, I have purchased the Apache with summer sale. I would like to ask for advice about good tutorials and advice on how to learn it. I have studied a bit but got a bit overwhelmed with all the buttons for CPG. I am looking for a fresh start step by step. Thanks.
  19. Just to comment for choice "Otherwise": I don't fly FC3 aircraft.
  20. Hello, Any tutorials how to use HOT3 in L model? Any videos? I searched YT but always find old tutorials.
  21. Okay the title is fine. How about the hidden deadzone in maverick WPN page that I mentioned in the 1st post? Is it going to be fixed or needs evidence? Has ED even looked at it?
  22. I think my original point was not clear. I was not complaining about FCR cursor speed. The problem I described above is: Maverick WPN page has some hidden deadzone and you can have hard time doing minor adjustments. (Was the topic title somehow changed?)
  23. This needs a contrary evidence? How? Should I jump in a real F-16 (I wish I could) and make a video? This is about usability. Please test this: Try moving the Maverick WPN cursor by tiny amounts. You will understand the problem for sure.
  24. Hello, I am a VR user I remember seeing other F-16 player's aircraft watching during taxi, takeoff and landings. The nozzle movements used to be visible. Now it is constant position in all non-ab states. Has something changed? If yes can you bring it back? If I watch my own aircraft everything looks flawless. Also I would like to note that control surface movements of other players are lagging and wheels of other AC are seen rolling during TO and Landings. I mean when he puts his gear down wheels are turning already.
