My 2 cents here: If the F-16 radar was really as weak as it is now in the current DCS version, USAF would not rely on that.

@GlobalAv I noticed the same thing but I always thought that the radar takes some time to look at the first target then it continues to search the elevations that is bound to your hotas elevation settings. This process goes on and on and while switching the elevation focus, the elevation ranges on the FCR will update respectively. Yes this is weird, however I am not sure how it is supposed to work. -
Let's say you have 1 AIM-120B and 1 AIM-120C. You shoot the B in DGFT mode and the next available missile C will not get automatically selected. In usual AA mode the switching works. When you are out of Bs the Cs will be selected next to shoot. If you need track I can provide but its easy to generate.

I am wondering what is the point of view of ED about the D model of the F-16. I know this post will probably get tagged "not planned". Yes we know but are they at least considering this option for future? It would demand less effort than making a whole new module. In that way people without joysticks can get acquainted. And before you ask, yes I know about SUFA mod and it is great mod. But unofficial mods are causing troubles with multiplayer servers and official campaigns. When you have crash first thing they say: Remove mods.

Considering how outdated this module is, still the simplest and most widely used module of ED on MP servers nowadays. Definitely deserves some love from ED.

I think the trees should offer tiny probability of survival for small caliber ammunition which is not really even necessary. No more than that. And yes they should be destructible and I think.

99% of the time I fly on my favourite servers. Everytime I get to MP screen, the list will query all the available servers and takes some time to populate. I need to reselect the checkbox re-run the search again everytime. If the checkbox state would be persistent it would be nice.

Hello, How to disable the messages icon in MP flights? It kills the realism. I press the tab and read messages, then I press tab again and icon disappears, then when new message comes the icon shows again. I don't want to see it at all. Only if I want to read, then I can press the tab and read.

Hello, I was playing on DDCS server and logged in to server. Then I sat down on F-16 and pressed F10. The map was flashing with white stripes all over the layout. Then DCS crashed and no bug reporting screen was showing up. This happened twice. If there is any logs I can submit I would like to submit but I don't know where they are. Normally a screen comes when things crash so I choose to send the report. But that was not available.

On MP server I asked why they would not add the Yak-52. They said somehow it was misused because of the damage model was broken and it was invulnerable. People were ramming random stuff with it. I just want to know are you aware of that issue? Is it fixed? Does it even exist? Is it gonna be fixed?

I had the similar issue yesterday. I was strafing some ground targets in MP server. Then came back for rearm and took some cbu-97s. I didn't manage to drop them in 4-5 tries. I had to play around with going back to strafe mode and back. Switching between master modes etc. Then I could drop them. The CCIP delay cue was never disappearing. That's why I could never release. I will try to reproduce the issue and upload here. And before you ask, yes I know how to release a dispensing bomb properly, I did it countless times. -
The most widely used missile in the game has a never ending story.. I am wondering is it really that hard to fix the AIM-120. I have also experienced same issues. While waiting for almost guaranteed kills in MP, I missed so many shots. Not only a high altitude problem as discussed here. Then we tried it against SU-27 AI, SU-30 AI. The missile will sometimes just pass by the enemy while still having good energy.

I confirm this bug, along with my other friends we have experienced the same issue. It worked for some time, later it broke down just as described here. -
Yes we don't know the AC config in videos but in DCS the lightest config cannot do it.

Press Shift-End to cutoff the throttle watch RPM. After the electric power is down and engine is still spinning, press idle detent again. The RPM gauge will continue down to zero but the engine will spool up again. You can no go ahead with 0 rpm shown, and your engine is actually running.

Regarding the rudder limitations of the FLCS, when you bank the jet 90 degrees and apply the full rudder, the nose will always drop. No matter what your speed is, no matter how light your jet is. But the real F-16 can keep the altitude. Please see this video from 3:55 to 4:05 or 12:15 to 12:30. Before entering 12:15 he says 400kts. I am not saying something is definitely wrong, but it is worth to check once more.

Hello, Nowadays we see that in MP servers the list of join-able slots are getting huge and it will be even bigger with planned ED modules. It would be nice to change the spawn logic in that way: Current state: Airfields have spawn locations and currently each spawn location is bound to a blueprint of an aircraft added in the mission editor. When the player is joined the object is instantiated. Desired state: In the background, each spawn location will have a list of possible aircraft that can be spawned on that location (based on its dimensions, airfield resources etc). Then the user will go to map and right click, choose from menu and spawn whatever he/she wants. Limitations on what and how many can be spawned will be on mission options. There are lots of good ideas in my mind that also the DTC, and the planned "Real-Time Campaign" model can benefit from that; but I don't want to go through all of them in here.

Also the crew animations for removing the pin etc. would be nice. I know those animations for Hornet are the part of the Supercarrier product but I would be more than happy to pay for advanced airfield ground crew. Thanks in advance. -
I can't agree with that. Currently there are: +15 USAF skins, 9 HAF skins. Which is about 70% of all F-16 skins. On contrast, only 1 skin for Turkey. At least 3-4 skins per country would be nice. We can provide you official template-based, minimal modified skins if you are willing to add them officially.

To attract new users to DCS, I recommend adding a multicrew module to free flyable aircraft. Something like C-101, L-39, Yak-52 or Christen Eagle. Actually C-101 would be really nice to experience IFR flight. I want to get my workmates try DCS but they don't have the equipment to fly. So just to get them on the back seat and experience flight, teach what we do. I know there is 2 weeks free time but that may not be enough if you can fly once a week.

I just want to share my user experience after flying this version of FLCS about 10 hours: 1- Auto-trim got a bit worse. I now need more stick corrections now to keep desired pitch during climbs. 2- During takeoffs and landings lift seems decreased to me. I now feel like I need to add 5-10 knots for takeoff/landings. 3- Prior to touchdown, flare maneuver reduces the sink rate less than before. 4- Pitching the nose up during takeoff will raise the nose too much immediately. If I am not careful it is very easy to exceed 14 degrees. 5- Aerodynamic braking got more difficult (it was somehow difficult already). Now its even harder to keep the nose ~10 degrees after landing. 6- FLCS transitions got seamless. 7- Roll input responses got stronger. I needed to add 10 points of axis curve to keep my old habits. Please do not ask where I got the information. I am not SME. These are just my feelings coupled with my previous muscle memory.

Please add more official Turkish F-16 skins. Currently there is only one unfortunately.. I know there are files in user section but unofficial skins are not visible to other in MP + full of mistakes. I really wonder why all countries have multiple and Turkey has only one. For Syria map especially, its an important asset. There are almost 8-9 Israeli skins, (I hope they will have even more). Turkey has lots of active squadrons. I hope ED considers this.
