Hi, Is the Hotas Cougar no longer in production? I checked Amazon US, Amazon UK, NewEgg, CompUSA and Dell.com but cannot find a Cougar anywhere. My cougar got destroyed when my outhouse (which was my game zone) collapsed and I need to buy a new one. Please help. I live in India so preferably a e-tailer who can ship to India would be preferable. But even U.S of A is fine. I can have it shipped to my sis and have her bring it when she visits next month. thanx Tez...i received the package today (it almost went back :cry: because I had used my nickname Muggy when placing the order and my manservant told the delivery guy that there is no one by that name). i haven't installed it yet but everything looks really, really good. i have just one more doubt. i intend to install and start simming only after the Cougar and TIR:4 arrive (might take another two weeks or so). i wanted to know (if, god forbid the disk does not work) is there a certain return period or can't the disk(s) be returned at all?

But can I actually track where it is now? Is there a tracking number that I can enter on some site (like DHL uses for example)? How is the shipping done or who is the carrier? How long should international shipping (India) usually take? Invoice ID for the order: 1255

thanks a lot for the info. i will go ahead buy both LO and FC. it will be really hard not to rip the cover open and start playin' but i will hold on until i get my comp. i wanna play the best sim with the best hardware

Now that DCS:BS is almost out and Lock-on will no longer be updated with new aircraft, will it still be available for purchase for some time? (some time = atleast a year). I currently do not have the hardware to enjoy LO to the fullest and need atleast a year to save enough to get a really good machine. I'm worried that it may go out of production and I will have to go for a used disk (hurts me to even think about it:(). Do you suggest I buy LO right now and just wait until I can buy a good system? (this hurts even more :cry:) Another question: what is the difference between LO and LOFC? is FC an expansion pack? I mean, do I need to purchase and install the basic LO before I can use FC? or does the FC package comes with LO basic in it?

Hi, I have a crappy joystick by Frontech which I find rather inadequte for LockOn. I'm having a tough time deciding what to buy. I had CH Products Fighterstick and Pro throttle in mind but the HOTAS Cougar looks good too. For the CH Products' I need to shell out about $300(149.95 + 149.95) and the Cougar comes for $250. So I decided to ask the experts. I'm sure some of you use the Cougar, has anyone used the CH stuff? Which one do you suggest I get? Do both Fighterstick and Cougar have force feedback(this is not important though, please provide your recommendation without considering feedback as a criterion). My next question is regarding multiple monitors. I have seen a lot of LockOn videos on forums and see the pilots perform some maneuvers (like a 4-point formation roll or a deltaship formation) with a fly-by view. I tried the 4-point(solo) and couldn't get it right without the indicators to guide me. Do they use another monitor for an external view? Does LockOn have an option to project a different view on another monitor? For example, can I have the cockpit or HUD view on my primary monitor and a fly-by view on the secondary? My video card does support it and I currently have two monitors connected but the game needs to support it too....right? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

hi, does anyone know if any future lock-on sims are gonna have a Mirage to fly. i was so dissappointed that the Mirage was a non-flyable. its such a amazing and agile little thing...that i wonder no ones made a sim for it any ideas if Mirage will be in lock-on? or are there any other sims where Mirage F1 or 2000 is a flyable?
