  1. Attempting to configure an Mi-8 Hip in the mission editor with door gunners and no external pylons. When I equip door gunners, the mission editor adds the weapons pylons. Removing the pylons also removes the door gunners.
  2. Not calling this a bug, I assume I just don't know what I broke; I was landing at a site about 7500', air temp was around 0*c, anti-icing running, cabin heater, pitot, clock, and battery heaters running. Ice warning still came on but no obvious effect on performance. Landing unremarkable. Sat light on wheels for about 5min. When I went to take off again, I noticed all fire warning lights were on, both overhead and on dash. No suppression discharge, no visible fire on external view. Generator failure lights also on. Aircraft still functioned normally, took off, conducted another landing at 10,000'. En route, I popped the suppression bottles but the lights remained on. Returned 30nm to starting point, landing normally at 500'. Any ideas what I missed that might've caused a false warning? Or was there some sort of fire bug that has no effect?
  3. Found this error on a hidden pop under when I launch DCS from my Steam Deck. Hangs on the splash screen. Ive tried reinstalling, verifying integrity, forcing different versions of Proton. Any other ideas?
  4. So it appears to be installed correctly, but the menu does not overlay DCS. It seems to register when I Alt+Tab out and hit Select Point but I can't transfer the route. Any ideas what I did wrong?
  5. So I had been using TrackIR and Opentrack at different times for head tracking. In September, I had moved and packed up my computer. DCS was working fine with either head tracker. Now this past week, I've set up my rig again and whenever I use head tracking, either opentrack or TrackIR, my aircraft rolls left. Turning off the head tracking software corrects the roll. The roll is not present in other simulators (MSFS, IL2, and Elite). Turning off the roll axis in the head tracking corrects the roll but obviously limits my range of motion. I have clean installed all the tracking software as well as DCS. Wiped all binds and started from scratch. I'm stumped. Anyone have any ideas?
  6. If it's still open, please add me to the wait list. Thank you!
  7. An IDS would be fantastic. One of my favorite Sims was the old Tornado...it could be great in DCS too. Screaming in a 100ft with the TFR on to crater a runway with the JP233. Two seater too
