Flew with one of the HB guys yesterday. He said it would sync after you took the wings out of oversweep. Apparently something on EDs end IIRC.

Have only tried a few minutes in VR and felt it was a bit too much forward as well. A lot of guys I flew with yesterday thought the same. Easy fix but still.

It's the notch filter. There are a couple of options. One is simply to switch to pulse search and try to pick him up on the DDD with that. The other thing you could try is to disable the MLC to basically turn off the filter. I prefer this option at the moment though I've had little practice with the pulse search so... I've had a hard time picking anything up on the pulse search but I might be doing something wrong.

A quick question. After watching all his carrier landings he seemed to be unhappy with "1 wire" landings. I have no idea how carrier landings are supposed to go. Is there a specific wire that you want to hit? In that case, why?

This. We've been getting some updates which can all be summed up as "Work continues." Which is nice and all but 90% of those have been about the F-14 which we know wont be out for a while. The Viggen is supposedly far into development, so why haven't we heard anything about it? They've just confirmed that it's real. And not much else. Then people go calling you a tinfoil hat for thinking something may have gone wrong. But what am I to believe? I'd rather know what's the cause for the delay than just sit on my arse and wait. It's just very frustrating. :(

This Viggen tease is taking it's toll on my sanity.

I actually hope they make the Aim-54 as unreliable as it was in real life. From what I've seen the ones in game hit their mark pretty often, but if I'm not mistaken a US f-14 never managed to shoot anything down with an aim-54 (Except target drones). Just a load of misfires.

Well it's either that or risking pissing someone off. Sarcasm doesn't work as well in text as it does in real life.
