So here is how my view is setup ingame. As you can see, the HUD is perfectly fine. Now, looking at the picture David posted, I realize I should bring my head a little more forward, which would even give a better HUD view. Anyway, again my point is: nothing wrong with the HUD itself, all ED has to do now is bring the head position up a little.

Correct eye position should be around the middle of the head rest. I'll take a screenshot next time I fire up the A-10C.

The issue has nothing to do with the size of the HUD. Looking at the OP screenshots, it's clear that ED forgot to bring the view up. We used to have the view set too low and too much forward. In 2.5.1, they just fixed the forward position but forgot to fix the height. At the beginning of each flight, I manually change my view to the correct position and have no problem seeing the entire HUD display.

I do hope there will be something done. With deferred shading on, I cannot fly an open formation (I constantly lose sight of my flight lead at 1NM) and cannot manage to regroup on my leader's wing. Also spotting ennemies becomes an excessively hard thing. Now, I fly in VR and don't know if the problem is also there with standard monitors or not but deferred shading completely ruins it for me in my Oculus. Much of the contrast aircraft - sky/background is lost. I planned to fly the Hornet with my mates in MP but now I'm really affraid it's not going to be possible anymore.

This is very bad news for me. I play with deferred shading off because otherwise I can't spot aircrafts in the sky. Basically, it makes flying in multiplayer a real nightmare. Bignewy, do you know if there will be a workaround? I'm very concerned by this.

Try to lower the visibility range in your graphics options. It should solve the problem. -
Deferred shading also makes aircrafts and vehicles nearly impossible to spot at a distance. The problem is that trees look indeed ugly without it so turning it off isn't very satisfying either. On NTTR it's okay because there aren't that many trees but on Caucasus it's a different story. Also some textures don't work properly with deferred shading activated. For example the needles of the A-10C fuel indicator become transparent and contacts on the Mirage radar screen appear with a green background to them.

Des topics ont été créés à ce sujet et des gens se sont plaints mais les developpeurs de Razbam font la sourde oreille. Un autre truc embêtant par exemple: quand t'es dans le cockpit et que tu tournes la tête sur les côtés, il y a des positions où le bruit du moteur disparait.

Oui j'ai exactement la même chose. Les sons de start up et shutdown du M2000 sont comment dire... à revoir. Y a quelques "détails" pour lesquels on voit que Razbam ne s'est pas beaucoup cassé la tête.

There might be issues with TACAN not working properly. I know it's definitely the case currently with the F-5 (the bug has been reported by the way) but it might also affect other aircrafts as well. I'm not sure. I have just tested the ADF on the A-10C and it works but seems very buggy... I have attached a track below. adf.trk

As far as I know DCS doesn't take advantage of SLI, even in VR. I wish I'm wrong though...

That's it, pixel density. I forgot to mention it. It's very important that you start with a pixel density of 1.0 and then increase it step by step and see if the game is still playable.

Have you tried the VR graphics preset? Please take a screenshot of your current settings, it might help us figure out what's causing the issues.

By the way, I see Strike Eagles carry both the sniper and lantirn. Why? Isn't the sniper supposed to be just a better, more modern version of the lantirn?

The IR light is emittted by the little diodes on your head clip. Being on your head, you don't see them, they are out of your field of vision. Even if you had to look at them they wouldn't represent any danger, even for long periods. They emit a long wavelength, low intensity light and thus cannot damage your eyes.
