Wanted to try it out vs some "newer" competition Spit vs MiG-15 Spit vs F-86 spit vs F-5E

Just the first fight, but i'm certainly liking it a lot already.

I thought they were both supposed to come out close together, but guess things change. Nice for jet and/or chopper fans though I suppose.

hmm Corsair not included in the models coming in the first half of the year according to the DCS newletter, accidental omission or is this further than 6 months out?

+1 both are high on my wish list as well. F4F is on VEAO's roadmap, so there is a chance there. Guadalcanal is probably one of the more interesting in terms of what was there and at least a bigger area than say midway for example. Plus the Corsairs were there... well a few weeks after it ended, but flew out of there for other missions afterwards.

Little known fact, it was also known as the duck, Flying high in the sky davinci could certainly sketch the ground below (ground mapping radar) and quite frankly you don't what to know what the advanced missles were :megalol:

I was just going to guess that it was the Wright Flyer as well :pilotfly: and while we're at it, how about the other one... hmmm If I try hard enough to can take things completely out of context enough to make the clues fit. I mean what the hey, that's what everyone else is doing :lol:

ED has the X-Wing covered, so I'll say LN does the Tie Fighter :D As for the actual guesses, what would it take to get more of a hint, at least something along the lines of 2 jets? 2 Props? 1 of each? none of each?

After some time not being able to fly I dusted off the MiG-15 and took her for a refresher dogfight vs the F-86. Let's just say, I don't think my marksmanship has suffered from the time away :lol:

Well that was 2 months ago, think folks are just looking for a little something since that time. Especially since it was originally expected in March (P-47). March came and went, April is almost gone too, think it's natural to wonder a bit what is going on with it. Can't recall getting the April newsletter so maybe we'll get something in there, just saying, hard to blame folks for at least asking, since it's been a little bit without hearing.

Maybe it wouldn't be a B-29, but rather a Tu-4 :D

I haven't seen one with that same configuration for the rear wheels, and I might be ashamed to admit it, but since it was a pain finding good pictures or all the possibilities so I spent time looking over Jap and US planes in war thunder The only one I saw that looked similar in a backwheel was the P-39/P-400/P-63's but they were oriented backwards.

well looking at the picture it appears like that protrusion wouldn't even clear... Seems like a WIP or a faulty landing gear :) N1K's had some serious landing gear issues to start, don't know what they looked like ,the original ones, as they were replaced back then even. I dunno, whatever it is it's going to be cool. my 3 guesses, J2M, N1K, F7F (just because :pilotfly: )

Well, if it's not a Zero, the only other thing I can come up with not already mentioned is the Ki-84
