  1. Finally received the RAM, so now running 32GB DDR3 2400mhz I was able to get past the point where the crashes were occuring. A-10s took out the AAA, I took out one of the helos.. then I must have screwed something up because I exploded I will continue testing when I have more time tomorrow or this weekend. It's a very long mission so don't have time to restart it again tonight. Should also note I'm on the beta branch (those clouds!) if that's any help.
  2. Knew I was forgetting something. Using a 2080super so no need for overclocking. Looking back I realize both times were after the radio message to engage enemy helicopters at 1500 feet. However, I could never spot the helicopters. I will try again tonight and see if I can spot them. I wonder if it's trying to spawn them and failing
  3. After escorting the A-10s all the way to the front line, the game keeps crashing. It takes quite some time to reach the point where it crashes and it does not seem to be generating a crash log. I will try again to replicate it once I have more time, but since it takes 30 minutes just to reach the AO, I don't have the time lol Has anyone else run into this? i7 4790k 16GB DDR3 2400mhz (if it's a memory leak and this isn't enough, I have more RAM on the way, will update if this resolves) Samsung Odyssey VR headset PS It seems not many have discovered this campaign, and since it was only $5 I picked it up. Was really enjoying it!
  4. What the hell?! This worked for me too. It didn't work last night. Not only that, but running the shortcut should be literally the same thing as running the application directly. I work in IT, I deal with supporting countles applications every day, what the hell?!
  5. I've been having issues too. So far the only server I've made it into is Hoggit, then the game will randomly crash. Others will say connection interrupted, regardless of what connection type I have selected.
  6. I've had the same exact issue. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a fix; I'm torrenting 1.2.10 and will have to reinstall using the full installer, which is an utter pain. I can't find many others that have been having this issue :/
  7. Mar: The craft pitched like it had both elevators Koek: They definitely hit me, I saw the tracer and heard the hit. I don't think they've modeled the visual damage yet; there isn't even an indication there *was* a stabilizer there, it's like it was just deleted from the model
  8. Imgur album: http://imgur.com/a/dSHQU I had half my tail ripped off from a very lucky AA strike. Lo and behold, I was able to make it back to base with very little effort; the plane would roll a little, but it was like it had damaged wings from going too fast, not like it was missing an entire stabilizer. Then I came in too fast and destroyed the nose gear. That was pilot error, however. :joystick: Are there cases of Sabres being able to do this, or is this a bug? I know F-15s could fly with damaged tails and wings, but they have much bigger surface areas and modern flight systems. I've never heard of a Sabre being this damaged and flying this well.
  9. Made an account to confirm I, too, am having this issue. It appears to begin above the cloud layer. CPU: AMD 4300 Quad Core 3.8GHZ GPU: AMD Radeon R7 260, Catalyst 13.12 (14.x won't recognize I have two monitors, so I'm stuck with this driver and can't update) Knew I should have gone Intel/nVidia, but money was tight at the time I had to build this PC :( EDIT: Disabling triple buffering did nothing, also tried disabling overclocking (which I don't use, so that probably didn't do anything) I realized I have this issue on the /r/hoggit server when they have the weather set to overcast, BUT everything is fine in singleplayer when there are few clouds. Odd.
