  1. Hello! Can I turn on the tacan in aa mode and track my wingman like I can in the m2000c? In the m2000c the steps are: Set TACAN rotary to A/A and X or Y. Use a separation between leader and wingman of 63 channels. For example you on Channel 3 and your wingman on Channel 66. Move the HSI rotary to TACAN. You will see on the HSI distance display your distance with your wingman. Is this possible in the A-4?
  2. Hello! While The map is on sale I think about buying it, but couldnt test the performance yet. While I can run caucasus and PG with playable 45-50fps, the new marianas map is unplayable for me (15-20fps). Will syria be playable for me with my old rig and medium settings? CPU: i5 6600 GPU: rx470 8GB D5 RAM: 32GB Thank you!
  3. I just discovered this great mod, mosty played the A-10C and the Mirage before. While reading through the changelogs and the previous comments I still don't know how to use the differential brakes. I dont have a rudder, I use the RZ axis on my stick and buttons for brakes. The only way for me to taxi in the right direction is throttle at 75%RPM full brakes, releasing and then using the brakes to steer in the right direction which doesnt work to well, not talking about carrier takeoff from parking position. Can anybody please describe the right way to taxi or is there already a youtube tutorial for it? Thank you!
  4. Thank you for this great mod, its great to fly and makes so much fun! I have to questions: -I don't own the supercarrier, I tried to land on a CVN-74 John C Stennis (which should work without supercarrier) but sadly the hook doesn't connect. Is this just a matter of training and the right angle or is it impossible without paying? -The multicrew part is really interesting, I really want to try it out with a friend who is interested in DCS as a trainer, but from what I have seen in videos is that it is still buggy and doesn't synchronize very well. Is there a save way to learn my friend how to fly without getting frustrated? Maybe some Dos and Don'ts for a nice experience? Thank you!
  5. Hey there! After many years I finally learn how to fly the A-10c. At the moment I try to land with bad sight with tacan and ILS. To know where I want to land I use the divert menu in the cdu and choose an airport to come to the FLDINFO page. Then I want to set my radio right for the ATC but I just get a short number as APP or TWR, not the VHF frequency I am looking for. EG Batumi says APP and TWR = 4.250 instead of 131.00. How do I get the VHF frequency? Next I want to set my path manually to the right degree for the runway so I can find the right way with tacan. The CDU says batumi has a runway 13 and 31. How do I get the right degree without looking at the F10 menu with the information from the CDU? After finding the airport with tacan I set up ILS with the right numbers and power it on and switching to ILS navigation mode. I hear the beeping sounds and I see the horizontal arrow while landing, but I do not get the yellow bars to help me landing. Just the arrow (see picture attached). Do I miss something here? Sorry for all the questions, its so much fun to learn! Kind Regards, Lukas
  6. Thank you fpr your reply! And do you think that the multiplayer experience (dogfights etc..) are worth it? I played online yesterday for the first time and every opponent in TF-51Ds tried to hit me to get me down.. Arent there any real dogfight servers?
  7. Hi! I am new in DCS, just downloaded DCS World from Steam and i really like it so far! I played Lock On some years before, but this is a new experience. I like the TF-51D very much, but I am thinking about getting the P-51D DLC. My question is: if i am not into fighting very much and more into playing a good and realistic simulator, is it worth it to buy the Mustang? Are there any other extras or more realism then in the free to play version? Or is it just the same but with guns? Thank you for your help! Kind regards, L.
