  1. Fix this please. Cold start harrier cant select PT mode.
  2. This has happend to me multiple times. It's not neccesary bug on tarawan, but definitely on harrier side. Very annoying radio spam. You can change radio frequency sure but it just mean it will keep spamming, you just dont hear it which is not ideal. Occurs also when approaching, not just takeoff.
  3. This has happend to me couple times. Everything should be good to go, new plane with new flares but not working. Seems at the moment to occur randomly.
  4. Agreed. But it wont't always and you will end up with broken laser. It's a problem that ppl have to break working machine in order to fix the laser. I'v been happy with the mod. It's solves the problem, without any issues.
  5. Mod will indeed pause laser if its close to overheat. An HUD indication "PAUSE" will apper when laser is being cooled down.
  6. Hey ppl! I recommend downloading Devrim's english HUD mod. Mod will bring all english text, but also it will enable laser temperature indicator on hud. If laser is close to overheat it will automatically shut down laser for it to cool down. After installing this mod i haven't had any issues with laser anymore. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=93618
  7. Awesome job Chuck as always! There is a small error on pages 18 and 27. Warning panel lists are mixed.
  8. I ran into this same problem, damm ground crew didn't clean up the glass. Lucky for us there is two different mods out there to fix this. Clean cockpit textures by Flanker Here Clean cockpit & hud glass by Tetra Here (Download Mirror) I use Tetras clean glass since taking off all the dirt feels abit unrealistic. But definitely aircraft piloted by me, the glass would be crystal clear
  9. No, you have to switch between descend and nav modes. It's dumb i know but after practise you learn to keep ADI course needle lined up, while in descend mode. In the end it's about right with RSBN. Goal is to intercept the PRMG signal which we start really following.
  10. Automatic and Directional SAU modes are optional. Purpose of these are to help pilot guide the aircraft to the runway threshold. In automatic mode autopilot will take control of aircrafts pitch and bank channels and follow the glideslope. In directional mode the SAU will provide pitch and bank cues on the ADI using the big needles. Other words duplicating what the smaller PRMG needles are showing.
  11. RSBN descend mode will end at 20km away from the runway. PRMG has a maximum range of 25km. So first line up with the runway by using the middle position (Navigation mode). Switch to Up position (Cloud peneration/descend mode) and follow the RSBN until you reach PRMG maximum range of 25km. Switch to Down position (PRMG/Landing mode) between 25 - 20km. PRMG signal will be slightly off from the orginal RSBN, so correct you aircraft to right course. After intercepting PRMG, follow the signal to runway threshold. Couple tips: - RSBN descend signal will end at 20km. Don't follow the altitude guidance beyond this point. - You can level your aircraft around 25km before switching to landing mode. PRGM altitude will be higher than the RSBN, so it's faster to catch the right altitude this way. - The small needles above and side ADI are the PRMG needles (ILS) which are showing your location in reference to a localizer. The Big needles are directional indicators. They tell you where to go in order to intercept the localizer. Don't mix them up. - With PRMG you can use autoland mode in autopilot panel which will take you to threshold of the runway. It will not land the aircraft. - You can set a low altitude warning up to 350m of the ground. You hear a audio warning if going too low. When training PRMG landing this might safe you life. Additional there is also a autopilot mode which will pitch your nose up if you go below the selected altitude. - RSBN/PRMG morse code can be abit annoying so it's good to mute it up. But when in >20km of the runway set the volume back up so you can hear the markers. - Outer marker = Have everything ready. Flaps, gears, glideslope etc. otherwise Go around. Inner marker = Have a visual on the runway, otherwise Go around.
  12. Please bring back the old keybinds. This used to be my favorite module but now it's just horrible to fly without working speedbreak. Some people want toggle, others seperate keys. Cant we have both so everyone would be happy?

    Landing

It's probably the Decol warning. It means that your plane is not in takeoff conf. Most likely means that you have trimmed aircraft in air and now back in ground it's indicating no takeoff trim. Are you using 1.5.4 ? This has happend to me also. It's kinda annoying to get master caution as soon the front wheel touches down. Haven't figured out yet, how to put it back to takeoff trim thought, so if somebody has asnwer to that, would be nice.
  14. First of all make sure you get the "cleared for contact" other wise boom wont be active. Since f-15 has the refueling hatch on left side of the plane make sure align the hatch with the boom and not the plane it self. After that its fairly simple, just need to follow the lights. Left side is altitude and right one is distance. Your aim is to get middle green lights on both indicators. If you are too low arrow light will lit to guide to move up. Same with distance. If you too far away arrow light will lit guiding you to move more closer. Move your plane so you will have 2 greens and follow the arrows to keep you there. EDIT: And by left and right i mean when you are behind the tanker. In the picture there is u=up d=down f=forward a=afterward. Middle greens perfect any other green light is ok and red lights mean your about to disconnect
