MFD Backlighting Plates I just went to their website, again, and found they do ship to the USA. Finally. So, I ordered a set of two. Don't have a delivery date as yet. 69 Euros +33 Euros for shipping. About $120.

I received my F-5 panel today. First off, it was packed and protected very well. The labels I requested were done correctly, and very legible. Glider UK said the lighting would depend on how what I wanted lined up with that on the Warthog itself, so I was not surprised. My only criticism is that the panels themselves are priced reasonably, but then adding the postage to the USA from the UK means I probably won’t buy any more.

Well, I have put that file of yours in about 19 different folders, and it still doesn't show up on the knee board. I can't imagine what I may have done wrong. :) I went ahead and printed out the charts and will have them laminated and three-hole punched. Thanks for your help.

Tippis, I like your checklist a lot, but still can't get it to show up in the kneeboard. Are you using Open Alpha or Open Beta? Or, are you putting it in DCS? Can you show the complete string of where you have it? User/user/saved games/etc/etc? Thanks,

None of them show up when I put them in the correct folder. I assumed they were not working in the latest update, as are many other mods. You have a god one, send it over.

Does anyone have an F-5E checklist that works in the latest Open Beta version? Searching, it looks like nobody has updated theirs lately.

There is a rectangular plate just about in the center of the instrument panel showing frequencies. Could it possibly be changed to use BOLD type, to make it more legible?

I ordered a panel for the Tiger ll. Will get back with a review.

I just had something happen that I have never seen before. So, I don't know what to do. In opening the utility, it goes down to my task bar, and won't go full screen.

Define a newcomer. I’ve been here longer then you have. Why not give us the old radar code system while the new one is being developed? How long would Nevada have taken if the new engine was already developed? “ED is not profit driven” then “Sometimes they have to pump things out to keep the lights on”. Boy, is that enlightening. You are definitely not their PR man. :) Most of us understand, and accept, the difficulties in creating modules and scenery. The problem is getting an unfinished product, and then waiting months/years/never to get a completed product, because developers are too busy working on the next big thing. This is what I was alluding to when I suggested DCS may have bitten off more than they could chew. I support DCS and think they have the best flight sim products. Hands down. But, they could do better by us.

I want the Hornet, but will not buy it until it is fixed.

Could it be that DCS has bitten off more than they can chew? That the newer modules are more complicated than envisioned? That they are now stumbling along, trying to keep up a decent revenue stream, while not having the resources/expertise to finish what they start? I don’t know. Please don’t ban me.

MFD Backlighting This guy in Poland doesn’t seem too interested in selling these. I have contacted him 3-4 times about shipping to the USA. Once in Polish! Haven’t heard a thing back. The price doesn’t seem too much to me, considering I know nothing about how to set up a couple of small LCDs. Screwing the backlighting plates to my MFDs is a lot simpler and less time consuming.
