So I got a update: I think I know the reason but not a solution for the non working LEDs. I searched through github (god i hate that site and its layout) and found some extended troubleshoot. I disabled all my Export.lua addons except for DCS-BIOS and voila, the LEDs work. After that I added the rest and as soon as the SimShaker is implemented, the LEDs stop working. Well they get updated once at the beginning of a mission and then never again... I will try reinstalling the SimShaker software and hope for a newer version that works with DCS-BIOS. Maybe there is someone who can tell me what may cause the problem? Here´s my Export.Lua and it´s current order which I recreated from the one in the troubleshoot page. Cheers

Well, that didn´t help and changing the #define line didn´t do anything either... I really dont know what´s wrong... It worked just fine but after the last DCS update it got corrupted i guess... DCS Bios got an update yesterday which i now use without any success

my next step would be uninstalling DCS BIOS and reinstalling it. In order to do so I guess i have to delete the whole folder in the saved games folder, remove the lua line and reboot.

I got two Arduinos running now. Both are with the ATMega2650 controller and on both are the switches but not the LEDs working. The code im gonna run for one now with just the LEDs is below. I noticed the first comment mentioning this: /* use '#define DCSBIOS_DEFAULT_SERIAL' instead if your Arduino board * does not feature an ATMega328 or ATMega2650 controller. */ As I mentioned i run the ATMega2650 so what is the other alternative for the #define part? EDIT: Having only the LEDs running doesn´t work either... What a strange Phenomenon

As promised i´m reporting back. The last few days I was building an extension for my small desk mounted cockpit including some additional LEDs (Gun Arm, NWS, Canopy unlocked & Marker Beacon). In addition I added the Fire Handles including LEDs and none of them work smh.... I checked it with a custom Blink sketch and they lit up just fine. There has to be a problem with LEDs on my configuration and I really don´t know what to do about it. The toggle switches I added work just fine but everything with LEDs does not. Is there any info I can provide to work towards a solution? Cheers Griffon26

My next step is gonna be switching the MC LED with another (steering engaged for example) to simply check if LEDs arent working in general or if its really just the MC LED. I will report back. @No1sonuk Big thanks for your help!

I just checked it again and it works fine with the blink sketch.. The difference between our codes is the name "masterCaution" which was "mcLED" but I changed it to yours and still nothing... Im using a Mega board and pin 35. The CMD which shows the communication is also working. Heres the content of my export.lua maybe it got messed up?

I just tested it but it doesn´t work even after updating to DCS-BIOS_0.7.48.zip like you. It´s really strange cause i haven´t changed anything.

Hello again, unfortunately the Master Caution LEDs stopped working again... It´s quite strange because they worked fine the last few times i played. Maybe it has something to do with the latest update? If i recall right they worked just fine before. I´m using the Beta version (who doesn´t anyway?) Now it´s the same before installing the Fork version of DCS BIOS... Maybe someone has an idea? Or am I forced to wait for a BIOS Update? Cheers Griffon26

So after installing the Fork of DCS Bios ecerything works as intended. Even the Master Caution Lights It´s been a while so I simply missed the part of the hub version getting abandonded... Anyway, i´m very glad that this community is simply awesome and keeps things runnning! I´m very grateful for your help! Thanks a lot. Cheers

Oh well I was on a break for quite a while and the last time I was flying and everything was working was approx one year ago? Anyway, I really appreciate your help! It makes sense that DCS got more updates that the old BIOS can´t handle anymore. Gonna Install the Fork with the Video you provided and will give a short feedback when I got time for it. Hello everyone, after a long pause of playing DCS I just plugged all my stuff into my pc and hopped back in the A-10C II. I build myself an UFC out of an Arduino Mega controller that is connected via DCS Bios. Unfortunately, I quickly realised that the Master Cautions LEDs on my hardware don´t work anymore when the Lights light up in the virtual cockpit. It´s a bit strange because every other button works ingame and when I load a simple blinking Programm onto the controller the LEDs I use for the Master Caution work just fine, so it has to do something with the connection to DCS I guess. Anyway, here is the code that currently runs on my Board, maybe there was a change or something else I missed?... I am very grateful for every helpfull answer! Cheers Griffon26

I think infantry and civilians of any kind should be more in focus now after the Helicopter releases. IMO they need to improve the KI of infantry (seeking cover, firing while moving, maybe a kind of "fear" where they start running or retreating based on the skill level when the battle goes not so well for them. I don´t know if it´s already possible but looping waypoints would be great too to have some infantry or tanks patrol a certain area. Also adding non combat units would make a great improvement. Maybe someone remembers the good old Comanche 4 game? I liked how there were a few units of ground personel (mechanic, Coordinator, etc..) which had one or two basic animations. This added real good life to the bases and FARPS. In DCS you could make them freeze while not beeing in a specific area around them to safe some memory. Lets see what ED is up to!

Hallo Manstein, ich hätte hier einen Lösungsvorschlag: in deinem DCS Verzeichnis findest du eine A10c amplified Checklist wo alle Punkte aufgeführt sind die du beachten musst. Ich habe die Kampagne in der OpenBeta version. Eventuell ist das bei dir ja anders. S:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\campaigns\A-10C - Basic Flight Training Qualification\Doc In diesem PDF findest du etwa in der Mitte einen Abschnitt "After Landing". In diesem Teil ist auch ein Punkt namens "Engine Shutdown" aufgeführt. Befolge alles nach dieser Checklist und es müsste klappen. Die Checklist ist im allgemeinem sehr nützlich. Ich habe mir gleich ein Exemplar ausgedruckt. Zu beachten ist allerdings, dass das DCS Handbuch zur A10c als Ergänzung notwendig oder eher zu empfehlen ist. Hello, I bought your Basic flight qualification campaign and just started it. At the second mission where I should perform a startup I dont even get into the A10. That means I start at the F10 map without the possibility to switch to cockpit view. Any suggestions? I use the open Beta version if that could cause a problem. Regards

KW-908 Jetseat Hallo zusammen :) Anbei möchte ich mal meine Meinung zum jetseat kw-908 äußern. Mir ist bewusst, dass alle Punkte aufgeführt und auch schon ausgiebig beschrieben worden sind jedoch versuch ich mich auch mal im Produktbewerten :D Nach ca 4 Wochen (nach Baden - Württemberg) konnte ich das Paket beim Zoll abholen und endlich loslegen :joystick: Also ich muss sagen, dass ich echt sehr zufrieden bin! Die Matte ist sehr angenehm und anpassungsfähig. Die "Montage" am Stuhl gestaltet sich durch einstellbare Bänder als äußerst einfach, ein wegrutschen ist so gut wie unmöglich. Ich denke, der Jetseat ist wirklich auf so gut wie jeder Art Stuhl, natürlich mit Lehne, einzusetzen. Nun zur Funktion und zum "Feeling". Die Software ist äußerst einfach und vielseitig. Man kann wirklich so gut wie alles nach seinen Wünschen und Bedürfnissen einstellen. Mein Erstflug mit dem Jetseat absolvierte ich in einer selbst gebastelten Mission mit der A10C. - Jede einzelne Spalte zwischen den Betonplatten auf dem Rollfeld spürt man bis man jene letztendlich verlässt und abhebt. - Die Stöße die man beim einfahren des Fahrwerk hört, spürt man nun auch. - Der Effekt des überziehens bis zum Strömungsabriss ist sehr praktisch. Man bekommt nun wirklich das Gefühl, dass sich die Maschine langsam verabschiedet. - Gleiches gilt auch für die Luftbremse. Nun spürt man auch, dass das Flugzeug gegen die Luft kämpft. - Manöver fliegen macht nun noch mehr spaß :pilotfly: - Vom Abwerfen von Bomben, das schießen von Raketen und AGMs, dem Einsatz von Flares und ECM sowie über das abfeuern der Bordkanone, welche einen wirklich durchschüttelt, alles ist wirklich toll umgesetzt und ich denke auch sehr realitätsnah. Alles in einem kann ich nur jedem raten, der sich überlegt weiter Geld in dieses tolle Hobby zu investieren sich einen Jetseat von Andre zu holen. Sein Service ist schnell und stehts freundlich. Wen die Wartezeit abschreckt muss ich sagen, ich habe diese auch überlebt :lol: Ich danke jedem der an diesem Projekt beteiligt ist für die Ermöglichung eines meiner Meinung nach einzigartigem Feature für einen doch erschwinglichen Preis, welches ich absofort nicht mehr missen möchte. :thumbup: Grüße Chris :pilotfly: P.s Ich hab noch einiges auszuprobieren :joystick:

Hallo, ich wollte fragen, mit was für einem Paketdienst das Paket aus Russland in Deutschland verschickt wird. Laut Paketverfolgung über die Russische Post ist mein Paket bereits durch den Russischen und Deutschen Zoll und nun zum Abholen bereit. Der Paketdienst machte auch schon einen Zustellversuch der allerdings nie erfolgte, ich war am 22. die ganze Zeit daheim und kein Postbote hat weder an diesem Tag oder danach geklingelt...
