How do you TURN OFF ADMIN ? Im having the same issues in XPLANE which has always worked, but like everything else if you dont use it it breaks ! But its digital how on earth does this <profanity> happen? Github is evil, and discord... its some kind of chat cabal that never allows you to login.

You should save each Joystick throttle Kb Arduino device for each plane to a backup drive or location... easy to do and you can then use a standard KEYBOARD layouts for all aircraft by using the load feature. FYI . Or at least save the ones you spent a lot of time on (A10C).

I cant seem to get the TGP turned ON ? I flip the switch but TGP OFF for the duration - and no flight so far has it already on.

I resolved using the "Repair" tool - But I got errors for Specific files - I deleted them first - then had to move some files at the end. Odd responses about "extra Files" DCS repair

Ill give it a try - Sounds like a winner to me. Now I know how to do the repair part. FYI I had DELL tech and Microsoft tech on my PC looking, they didnt seem to have an answer....

LOL I ran DCS without issues - But after running an UPDATE for DCS this started. Im not sure how windows would have changed in that few minutes. I do have a new Drive C from several weeks ago, but the logic with the DCS issue escapes me (as usual with Windows) I looked in the properties - None are checked

Why would the DCS Update cause this issue ? I do note that there was a list of files "UNEEDED" so I chose "delete" during the update. To be clear the DCS loaded and ran 3 or 4 times within a 1 hour period then I chose to UPDATE - then this all happened. Windows Defender is OFF no anti virus is running. Windows is up to date. Defender asked me to click "ALLOW" for DCS during the process - I did that. I guess I need my tool belt... gotta be hardware right ?

This seems to be easy to display ON SCREEN - why not do that when its a show stopper - Just a thought

Never seen this prior ... cant resolve - No antivirus running. I get the same error with DCS and UPDATER... Running fine until I ran the UPDATER - now nothing gets past this. I have tuned off the Windows Firewall even. Ran Cleanup and Repair from POWERSHELL window... I attached 1 of the 2 errors they are very similar. I ws willing to reinstall (kinda drastic) but the other user said that didnt work either... Windows must be involved here - but I ran DCS 4 consecutive times - the first three loaded and ran - only after UPDATING did I receive this error. I also went thru the update process for the C++ link "already installed" it says

I thought we were flying ... and the HUD is kinda important ... This is a problem from 10 years ago ... lets fix the HUD in the A10 for each and every body. Charts and Graphs bears oh my ! Solutions ? Here is something I used in an older version of DCS...Honestly this is one reason I went off to Racing Sims for 2 years ! and realized the same digital influence was at work there too. Too much "Discord" Under A10C/ . . . indicators I think Change HUD_init.lua change color ... at the bottom I like darker "font_HUD", } day_color = {0, 255/255, 0, 255/255} night_color = {243/255, 116/255, 13/255, 255/255} Change the values in K=54 instead of 73, in the HUD definitions.lua Change the font size as in the FONTS.lua HUD_ysize = 72.0 * 2 old was--73.143 * 2 OR ... Then I modified the .../Mods/aircraft/A-10C/Cockpit/Scripts/HUD/device/HUD_param.lua file to change the value (Line 6) TFOV = 170 to 150. I did this from a copy/paste into my mods folder for OvGME so it doesn't have to be done manually after every update, but do what floats your boat. My HUD is back to old cockpit visibility and is working just fine. With my old eyes, I also much prefer the old head position for reading the MFD's. As always, you may need to adjust a little differently due to your setup and personal preferences, and YMMV ? as to effectiveness, you may have to play with TFOV a bit. But it worked very well for me. Tested both with and without TrackIR with no issues.I reset my default head position to the old one. Im not sure it matters what is Real - the HUD is no good to play in the SIM.... We are not sitting in the airplane and not all want VR - Track IR perhaps. Compare the A10 Hud in DCS to other A10 models or other aircraft in DCS... we want that. Can we change the .LUA - I did this in the old version and seemed helpful - I have to locate those notes. There is a seat adjustment button on the left of the cokcpit ... it worked for me.

Soo i still see the HUD being too small - cant see the REticles half the time ??? Is there a solution so we can see HUD details like the GUN Reticle ?

My clever trick was to use the CTRL Joystick YAW and PITCH to move the camera exactly where I need, with a little POV hat and ZOOM, you can put your face directly in front of any part of the COCKPIT. Some try pressing the mouse wheel and holding (didnt work for me), or other. If you goto AXIS setup and map a CTRL or ALT key with Joystick to "Absolute Move Horizontal ..." & Vertical. and if you want a quick way to look behind map The ROLL as well. The ABSOLUTE part actually moves your face left and rt up & down , not just pan like the hat switch does. ITs like you are out of your seat, and release the CTRL key and the camera stays ! While yuo are flying you can still use this because your joystick will not be flying once you press CTRL / ALT but the plane will maintain where it left off. OF course if you are on autopilot its even less problematic, or on the ground. This is actually just like Track IR perhaps less optimal. And no MOUSE ! Also here is a very clever way to Save Cockpit Angles with ALT-0 and apply them to the NUM PAD. I used my method to move the camera into position and then SAVE the VIEW.

Since you are using a separate monitor for MFDs what software are you employing ? I am going round and round trying to find something that works well and doesnt involve a soldering iron... Is DCS ever going to offer the POPOUT Instruments like MSFS or XPLANE ? You know click and drag an instrument to your second monitor ? PS if you use an Nvidia card try the Sharpness setting or DRS if you have it .. will usually only show in "Global Settings" Its unclear if the features only shown in Global will have an affect on games that dont offer the setting. IT s just 1 more complex black box to pry open. I miss my old car... Regards

Strangely this is the one that will not work .... I have the "ENGLISH" option under the DCS menu(s) but still not English in the SU25T cockpit ... More black boxes

Im wondering if the Throttle is useable for A10C and F18 (and more) I see A10 and F15 stamped on some throttles but not clear how that applies - I assume only for certain switches / buttons. I really like the TM Warthog throttle but it seems most of the options are toggle switches... kind of dated even though A10C replica. Maybe Virple Mongose $$

I dont think I ever understood that you GET to SNAP VIEWS by pressing rt CTRL 0 ! oh my. Which allows you to press a num pad value to lock into a view ! whaaa ? Well I wanted to change a couple of them but I couldnt get a good camera position to LOCK on any view; Mouse wheel didnt work - PAUSE didnt work. - UNTIL i setup AXIS binding to Absolute Horizontal Shift Camera (and Vertical), to my CTRL + JOY STICK Axis (pitch and Twist) to move the cursor around the PIT and ZOOM or PAN the camera exactly. And discovered from this video that you could record and replace these Snap Views, using the magic keys. Who knew this first Id like to know. You really need to Slew the camera not just PAN like your sitting in the seat... you want it to move left and right and up and down (Absolute Horizontal and Vertical so called) So once yuo have the view setup, press WIN (num #)- then rt ALT 0. num # being the number of the SNAP view you wanna replace, ALT 0 to record it. BIIIG BLACK BOX. "...After you have it configured just bind the keys/buttons to the created snap-views. ..." Nothing to it

Basically Im looking to lock all snap views to there locations. I have used ALT 0 many times but I dont see how to assign the recorded view to a key binding. thanks

Somewhere after installing on new Computer - the ENGLISH Cockpits are selected from the Drop downs in SETUP but the actual flight models dont show English - ? any clues ? I have been thru the folders and downloads but have given up ...

I like all of that ... Is it working in 1.5 ? Are you using GPS in the A10C or I assume interactive cockpits, or the new GPS NAV module ? ( just downloaded) Sounds a bit complex... please describe further how you use that .

Why does F2 view have erroneous speed and altitude information ? seems to be that way for ever ? Am I missing something ?
