  1. Sorry if this has already been asked: If my W10 version is not in english, does it suffice to just install the english language in "time and language -> region and language"? Or do I need to have a full english W10 version?
  2. Thank you for this valuable information! I've always been confused about how the weapon selector actually works. Anyways, I feel that the manual is outdated in many ways.. :( So getting back into the Mig21 is quite a struggle, since I always have to wonder if issue X is my fault or if it's just buggy (like the navigation).
  3. I also noticed that weeks ago: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=213201 At that time I just didn't know that it was only the mission and not the Caucasus map itself (at least I think so?).
  4. Very true. I've recently started to use the clean canopy mod and finally I can see stuff! Though the sun lens flare is still a large issue.

    DCS Menu Nav

Alright, I've finally made some space on my HOTAS setup, but I still wonder about one thing: How do you map the hotkeys to POV buttons if your joystick has not one but two POV hats on the stick (e.g. X52)? Will DCS Menu Nav only recognize the first POV hat by default? Or which POV hat will it watch for POV actions?
  6. I've reported it to the devs in the meantime, let's hope they'll fix it soon. Anyways, I've flown a little bit on TTI Normandy during the weekend and it's great! :) The only problem with the map is that AG ship missions can be very far away from each other, e.g. if ships are spawned next to Guernsey and the next ones are spawned next to Rouen (150km). However, I think that's just the result of the limited sea space in the Normandy map :D
  7. Thanks a lot, great work! Time for some Normandy fun! :) By the way, I've noticed that the radio frequencies for the Mig21 on TTI for NTTR are wrong (even the AWACS). I guess this is due to the fact that the frequencies are faulty by default, if you spawn the Mig21 in the mission editor. Not sure about the Normandy map in this case, will look into it :)
  8. First of all, thanks a lot for your great work! Is it possible to also offer a version that includes modern planes (not only CAS)?
  9. Thanks for the hint! Or you can just load the single missions via the mission interface. I'm doing that now, since you don't have the problem of unclear victory conditions there (i.e. you fulfill the mission objectives, but it still counts as failed in the campaign).
  10. Today, I was playing a mission from the Stillness in Time campaign and I noticed, that the RSBN channel numbers are (at least!) wrong for Kutaisi and Kobuleti. Kutaisi is supposed to be channel 13, while Kobuleti is supposed to be channel 15. However, in-game it was obvious that channel 15 belongs to Kutaisi and channel 13 to Kobuleti. This can be easily seen by just looking at the RSBN range: With channel 13 set, my distance increased while flying from Kobuleti to Kutaisi instead of decreasing and the direction pipper was right behind me (Kobuleti). It could be that there are more mixed up channels, makes it kind of hard to navigate :music_whistling:
  11. Same happened to me, the ordering of the missions seems to be broken. The missions themselves worked for me though (although the victory condiitions are very not clear). However, I'm not as far as you into the campaign as of now. I've completed the two non-combat intro missions and the one night mission with the Special Forces camp and the day mission with the enemy air reconaissance in the mountains. Didn't get to the jamming mission yet, will see if I can complete that one. :music_whistling:

    DCS Menu Nav

Thank you for considering this! Unfortunately, my HOTAS setup is so stuffed, that I don't have a fully free POV hat, even with using all modifiers :music_whistling::D

    DCS Menu Nav

Thank you for the quick answer! But how does Menu Nav then know that Pinkie + PovLeft means BtnSelect and not BtnItemDn? Should I add the modifier key to the button mapping, e.g. if BtnMod1 = Joy4 then BtnItemDn = Joy8 BtnSelect = Joy8Joy4 ?

    DCS Menu Nav

First of all, great work! However, I'm a little bit confused with how to use the modifiers. I have only two unassigned buttons left on my POV1 and as such, I'd like to map the remaining two buttons for the Menu Nav with aid of a modifier (the Pinkie on my X52). I.e. something like BtnToggle = "Pov-Right" + Pinkie # just for illustration BtnItemUp = "Pov-Right" BtnItemDn = "Pov-Left" BtnSelect = "Pov-Left" + Pinkie So I've seen that the .ini file contains a modifiers section, but I'm a little bit confused about how this works. Do I just have to enter the modifier button in the appropriate position, like: BtnMod1 = Pinkie BtnMod2 = BtnMod3 = BtnMod4 = Pinkie ?
  15. Although already over a year has passed now, I have to agree: the Mig 21 deserves a high quality campaign! With voice overs I would easily pay +15€.
  16. The Start Up looks great, however imo the DB605 sounds are terrible. Compare the DCS sounds to this: Of course the K4 doesn't have the A version, but the difference shouldn't be THAT big.
  17. I had the same problem and my solution was to use my "gaming mouse" (finally it is of use!) for the hotkeys. At least for me mouse hotkeys do work whereas any hotkeys on the keyboard won't work.
