  1. It's been a while since I used DCS or these forums. I want to ask a question about the Logitech X52 HOTAS throttle. It is not directly related to DCS v2.9 so moderators kindly move this this thread to the correct section. My throttle feels like it has a spring inside. So whenever I advance my throttle to the desired position and let go of the forward pressure it slowly comes back for very short distance which is noticeable in-sim. These days I'm flying MSFS instead of DCS and especially when I fly the BAE 146 (which does not have a real auto throttle system) it becomes very hard to relax during the flight as I'm constantly struggling with the throttle for the right amount of input.
  2. Can we have the Hawker Hunter as an AI asset?
  3. A short video of a BAI mission that I flew on the Vietnam War VSN server on the 16th: The mission that was running on the server was Operation Flaming Dart.
  4. Hi Rudel, Have you managed to make the all the training missions? I eagerly awaiting the laser guided bombing one.
  5. @Rudel_chw Now that would be really nice. Looking forward to the publishing of the guide.
  6. Ok, thanks. Are UHF radios used for both Air-to-AIr and Air-to-Ground communications? And the same question for VHF radios.
  7. I can use the clutch as a modifier but not the pinkie switch. Is this normal? When I click on Add Modifiers in the controls section and press the clutch on my X52, it gets recognized. However doing the same with pinkie does not work. Also @Sacarino111if I need to set the controls for the RIO does it have to be mode 3 (red light)? I've made a profile for the F-14 but only in mode 1. So if I wanted to programme for mode 3 how would I do it?
  8. There are 2 sets of radios in this aircraft. 1. Does each of them have a different function or do they exist for redundancy? 2. The other day I completed an instant action mission in the Nevada map. Then I wanted to land at Groom Lake. I could not get in touch with the Groom Lake ATC for vectors to home plate. I brought up the knee map and saw a whole bunch of frequencies and even approach plates (nice touch!). Are these radios tunable in-flight or do they have fixed preset channels that can only be changed in the editor?
  9. Ok, found out the problem. The head tracker axes are not mapped for the RIO. They have to be done manually.
  10. If I switch to the RIO cockpit by pressing 2, I can't around. Neither with TrackIR nor with keyboard controls.
  11. Definitely. I am usually free on weekends. My time zone is UTC +5. Provide me with an invite link and setup a suitable time for both of us.
  12. Hi Sacarino, I posted some screenshots of the software with the profile opened. I was hoping maybe you could help me with it as now you can see what I see on my screen
  13. nullSo I loaded the profile in the software that I have and tried switching the mode switch but I didn't jump into the RIO seat. I've attached 2 screenshots.nullnull I must be sounding very stupid but I can't make head or tail of this software. Here's another screenshot: null
  14. Thank you. P.S. I did gun the tanker once
  15. Is there a video tutorial on how to use the F-14 profile that you provided. I still don't have a clue on how to use it
  16. It's not possible for me. I spent a small fortune on this X52 HOTAS because I couldn't get the Warthog. It's all in the video below:
  17. Hi saca111, do you use any curvatures with this HOTAS for pitch, roll and/or yaw? I'm finding it extermely difficult to hook-up with a tanker.
  18. Thank you Sacarino for the help. I haven't been able to fly or play any games since the past 3 days (real-life keeping me occupied). So whenever I get the time and feel a bit "adventurous" I'll fiddle with the software again. Yes, I get the point that the mode selector can only work with the logitech software and is not recognized by DCS alone.
  19. Managed to hook up but only for a couple of seconds:
