  1. Hmmm, Nice answers! Does that mean If i do not want to make use of the big thankers ( C130, KC 135, etc ) that I have to add a S3 tanker for every allied plain in a mission?? Thanx Dr Hippo
  2. Hi, I was flying a self made mission with the F18. When the fuel was almost empty I flew to a S3 refueler. In the mission editor I added a tacan to the refueler and let him orbit between wp2 and wp 3. When I contacted the refueler he gave me the standard message and in my communication menu "ready to pre-contact was available'. When I arrived at the refuler ther was another F18 ( IA ) flying behind the refueler. Nevertheless he was not refueling yet and when I flew behind the s3 tanker and pressed "ready topre- contact "he gave me the message that he was busy with the other AI F18. So I waited until the AI F18 was finished.When he was finished the S3 tanker re-trackted the refuel basket and I was unable to refuel with that S3 tanker. So my question, How many plains can a S3 tanker refuel, how is that modeled in DCS. And how can I know if flying to a tanker that he is to busy??? Thanx

  6. My Friend is talking to the JTAC! What is also strange is that if he is talking he only hear the JTAC, If I am talking we both hear the JTAC. In both cases whe can come to the point taht we try to "copy 9-Line"then no feedback anymore. FYI we both use the latest Beta release.
  7. Hi All, I have created a simple F18 mission where I contacted a JTAC and everything worked fine. My F18 was configured as client. That I added another F18 in my group and configured as well as a client. I did not do any other changes. Then I started this mission in multiplayer where I am hosting the server. My wingmenn ( friend was flying this F 18) contacted the JTAC. He responded and give him th 9 Line. From the moment he does ( copy 9 Line ) there is no response anymore from the JTAC. If we go to the map ( F 10 ) and do a click on the JTAC it says "no task". Any idea ( again, nmission works in single player ) Thanx
  8. Hi toutenglisse, Thanx for your hint. The "push ai task "and create task I did not know so that is clear!. The Group.getByName is is one of the things I have tried! Here is the error message
  9. Hi All, I am new in lua scripting. I have some scripting experience,.... not to much.. I have played around with Moose. I copy, paste and adapt some scripts and I get the thing working most of the time... I am not able to get the script working in the stopcondition for the advanced waypoint. I asume that I have to put the group name or function to get the groupname in the ... in the " gp = ... ". That always results in errors. I do understand the rest of the script.... I do have a second issue in the trigger function where the acttion should be " push ai task ". The drop down menu under push ai task does not show any options. I asked another DCS player and he have the same. I think I can change that with do script and script the action I want... or is there any ither reason why I do not see any option under push ai task?   10. Hmmmmm, script is working so that is great. The only problem is that on the trigger action nothing appears under the drop down menu in AI push task

  12. Hi All, I have a F18 loaded with HARMS. When they have fired all the HARMS I want him to fly to a tanker before going home. There is a "RTB out of Ammo" option, then the F18 is flying home. Do I think I have to add some LUA script in the stop condition for the enrout task in the F18? Is this the best approach? Next those have a F15 Escort group. The escort command says escort until a certain waypoint. I would like when the F18s are flying to the tanker that the task from the F15s is changing to patrol in a region! The patrol I can assign to a waypoint in the F15. The question is that the F15 should change from escort to patrol when the F18`s are flying to the tanker. I think that I have to script it as well in in the stop condition for the escort or from the F18? Is that the correct approach? I prefer to do the lua script direct in the mission editor. I find a lot of examples using moose or Mist. I do not find them for lua script in advanced waypoint actions! If someone can give me a link or hint or starting point? that would be amazing Thanks
  13. Hi, I have created a mission on a supercarrier. I added 4 F18's, 2 Refuelers and 1 E2. Everything worked as espected. Later on I wanted to expand the mission and added 4 F14's. I have the feeling that plains start to move in the order when they where added in the mission. I think it also have to do with the plains ID. Because the F14's where added latest in the mission they are blocking the refuers. Because the refuelers are not start the F14's are als not starting at all. Is this assumption correct ? If so how can I change the order? Stijn
  14. Hi All, We are testing and improving our landings on a carrier in different situations ( wind / storm / moving speed of carrier / mist / ....) So we created a mission where the F18 is at 10 miles from the carrier so that we can come quick in action. Is it possible to have the tacan selected and active for a certain station? Same for ICLS and CRS ???? Thanx Stijn
  15. Hi All, I created a mission where multiple groups from different airplains ( F14s, B1s, F18s, tankers, ....ets ) are starting from the same airport. When playing this mission in multiplayers we have strange behavior. I am flying a F18 group of 4. My friend is flying another F18 group of four. When the mission starts we both are starting and my 3 wingmens are following immediately. My friend first wingmen start to role when all my wigmens are in the air. When his first wingmen is arriving at the runway. then his second start to roll, and that continues. When finally all his wingmens are in the air. then the other groups are start to roll. I have the feeling that it`s behaving different in single player. What I want is that they are all starting to roll and they all going in the que for the runway. Any help would be appriciated.
