  1. Sorry guys, had to spend the weekend in a military exercise so wasn't able to reply you guys until now. I can see where you are coming from with the pricing, but to be honest, we do need some profit on these. This is not our "main thing" - which is still in R&D - so we aren't taking that much profit out of these. We are doing small runs (less than 100), so the starting costs on the production take a big chunk out of the profit we get. Would love to make a 1000 on each run, but we don't have that much cash available for this project. I do think that the price is quite good, especially with the bundle, when compared to Delan Clip and especially when compared to Track IR. Obviously we would love to offer these for less, but at least currently are unable to do so. Hopefully the sales pick up at an incredible speed soon... :)
  2. Just bumping this a little as we updated our website today to look at least a little bit more modern. http://mansloth.com/
  3. These are also available out there on eBay, for those interested in easier buying process. http://www.ebay.com/itm/111680923622 http://www.ebay.com/itm/111680925056
  4. Hey there people! We got tired of poor IR Head trackers out there that caused more problems than solved and decided to kick out an IR Head Tracker of our own. From users to users, so to speak. This is the second version we've done, improved based on our customer feedback. That's all the gear that comes with the headtracker, allowing you to attach it to essentially any headphone out there. Website with more information is located at http://mansloth.com/ The design might look a bit industrial, but we've looked in to various options for cover, such as molded and 3D printed cases but they all proved to be just too costly for us to justify one. At least at the production numbers we have now, Finland is not the cheapest place to manufacture anything... The item does last use, one of our prototype testers had his function as a dogs playtoy for a full work day, but works just fine even after that... :) Anyways, what I am looking for is questions, ideas and opinions you guys might have. This is pretty much - in my opinion - the best head tracker out there. EDIT: By the way, we are currently discussing with a supplier in hopes of getting a PS3 eye cameras as a bundle with these for those who need them for an affordable price, together with the no-longer-free drivers for it.
  5. So here's a bit of a prototype render of the future modular panel, for those interested.. you can see the direction we are going towards and that is a bit different from the one we are offering now. Any thoughts?
  6. Very good questions! This first batch is purely to test out some things we have in mind and thus is limited to only the buttons mentioned in the PDF and it is offered to anyone who is interested in having a cheap few-buttons-only solution. The actual product will be in few varying sizes. And yes, you can use a number of them at the time. You should be able to build a whole cockpit out of these if necessary once we are able to offer a variety of panels, buttons etc. The good thing here is that this system is coming from *sim flyers* to other sim flyers, from the needs we've had when flying simulators :)
  7. Hello crowd! Me and my friend are developing a modular panel system to be used in simulators (well, anything you might need to use one at actually), we're doing a bit of a test run to test some of the tech and to get some feedback from you guys. While these are never going to be 1:1 with actual fighter panels, we are going to allow players to easily create affordable mockups that function just like the real ones would, but you can customise the way they look and choose button placement yourself. The whole point is affordability and modularity. Since this is purely a test ptototype, it doesn't look like much and uses ready made parts, don't let that fool you. Machined parts with engraving etc. will be available when we actually start to sell these. Anyways, check this pdf and letm e know your thoughts so far, any questions etc. are more tan welcome! http://skipgo.net/customusbpanel/Custom_USB_Controller_Panel_Overview.pdf
